That's funny, because it's sopmething that bothers me about Binding of Isaac :)

And yeah, things like proper music are probably the first things to suffer from a 48h deadline, so that's understandable.

Goofy fun, but a little bland in terms of gameplay. The presentation is slick, though!

Not only a good combination of solving puzzles and excetung them in a fun way, but also a clever concept and probably the first game ever to combine ATM machines and a goblin. Full marks accross the board. Only thing I would like to see changed is making visible, how many coins are in each ATM at any given moment.

Best game so far, incredible. So much potential, but also so much off it already implemented in 48 hours. How adding and losing ships affects your playstyle on the go is asbolutely amazing. Enemy variety, presentation, everything is great. I would buy a full release

This is a bit too complicated, remembering where what is without indication and reacting to the incoming trucks. With a slightly better excecution this could be a cool game, though.

The punchline makes up for the lack of content. I had to chuckle, so that's worth something :)

Fun concept, good presentation, but a little annoying to control. It's not instantly clear how the physics work and react which can lead to frustration. Still dope.

Great presentation, solid concept, but i feel like the character speed could be ramped up quite a bit. I get that it is slow so that you use your attack/dash more often which then again makes it more difficult because of the arrows, but still, it feels a little TOO slow while walking.

Strong Hotline Miami vibes. Fun to goof around with but a little tough to control.

I couldn't really get into the mechanics, but it is very promising and unique.

Silly fun and a good idea. Music is annoying, though and I would like to be able to shoot in 8 directions.

Chaotic and fun :)

Yeah, not working :( sorry

Really good one. Only thing I could wish for are some checkpoints.

A good idea, but it is a little too slow for my taste as others have said before :)

This was insanely good. By far the best entry I played so far!!

That was fun. I really thought the cake was a lie.

I really had fun with this one. Sadly, I couldn't find a reset button and after losing on a level once and hitting restart, the enemy waves were not returning, so I had to start the whole game over again. Apart from that, a good excecution of a good idea.

A good high score concept, but I found the controls a little too chaotic and unpredicatable.

I really enjoyed the idea and think you could expand on it. It has promise regarding picking our your targets strategically and you could do a lot with differrent kinds of ammo per enemy and so on. Presentation was slick, too. Good entry!

Also I don't agree with it being too hard. When trying out som edifferent strategies, all levels can be dealt with and if it were easier, you wouldn't need strategy at all.

Hey. I have been playing a lot of games during the jam and am currently putting together a video about the ones I liked the most. It should be going online this weekend and will be available on YouTube. About 20 games plus some honorable mentions will be featured along with some general thoughts on the Jam. I'd be happy if anyone's interested:

The channel is mostly German, but I already uploaded some parts of my livestreaming the games. Feel free to subscribe, but I will also post the video here. In the future I will probably do more stuff on this and other game jams and also in English.

I had a great time with your games and am happy to let some more of them shine a little.

Best!

Yes, a great concept. I don't like tower defense, but this is very stategic and shows a lot of promise. I like the implementation of collecting gems as a risk-reward-system. With more complex level layouts and maybe additional towerbags (now that you are free from the shackles of the theme) this could become a very fresh take on the genre.
