How does your game fit the theme?
You are tied together to the rising sun. The closer you are to it, the stronger you are. However, you are also trying to protect the sun, and risk drawing more enemies near it by staying closer.

I would love to see this kind of idea polished and realized on mobile. I think it would work really well as a mobile game (and you obviously know this too going by the aspect ratio and control scheme)
Interesting and fun! I love the style and, while I am a terrible samurai destined to live in eternal darkness with a never rising sun, I think this is pretty cool. I can definitely see it as an app with a swipe only mechanism or something. Great job!
This game is going to wear my mouse out lol
sadly, my reflexes are not that of a highly skilled warrior. because of this weakness i was unable to master this wonderful game. i think this will be a lot of fun on a phone. there is so much potential.
Great game, great idea. I had a few issues when either I or the enemies were under the sun, as it gave me no real options to deal with that. Either the sun got aways from me, or the enemies would kill the sun before I was teleported back up to it. With a few balance changes, and addressing those issues, this could be really fun.
nice work! seems like it would be much more enjoyable on mobile where swiping is more intuitive. We enjoyed playing it on our stream w/ my kids!
Thanks it was very entertaining to watch!
Very nice idea and great animations!
Thank you!
really neat music! Got kinda a dystopian western vibe from it! Clever idea for a the game too!
Just a few things:
I think it would be nice to have like a little projectile path on the character whenever you click and drag the mouse, so that the player knows the attack will work, and where they're aiming. There were a lot of times where I thought I was preparing it right, but the guy either didn't jump or jumped in the wrong diretion.
Also, it might be nice to have the "protect the sun" objective a little bigger, or maybe visible via dialog box before the game begins, just because it's a little tough to see atm, especially in windowed mode.
Other than that, nice work!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Those are great ideas!
Great concept!
Thanks! Sorry again about the flashing lights and camera!
Cool Ambience you set up for your game, i think your game difinetely has potential , good job on finishing it before the due date!
Thank you for letting me resize the screen! I prefer playing on windowed mode!
This kinda feels like Downwell but reversed. I liked that this game didn't limit your movement to the screen (like other autoscrollers).
Thanks for playing! Haha yes the inspiration was reverse Downwell. Hope you liked it!
Very simple mechanics wise but addicting mechanics. Enjoy the skill based bounce mechanics, it's like playing a forever rising game of the floor is lava with a twist. Great and simple submission.
The tutorial could have explained things better. Especially that the flames represent how many dashes you have left. But once it clicked, it was quite fun. Maybe the camera could lag a bit behind the dashing character, instead of snapping. It is quite disorientating now. Also when enemies get below you, it feels almost impossible to get them. Especially when you respawn that is something to look at.
Thanks for the feedback! Haha yea the tutorial could have been a lot better, I ran out of time so I threw it together in the last 20 min. And that's a good idea with the camera thanks! In regards to the enemies below you, you can actually fall on their head to damage them (I know that's not an explained mechanic :/ )
That was quite cool ! Better not fall though ^^
I had a blast playing! I struggled with some things like knowing when to dash and what to protect, but I got the hang of it. The sun will not rise, but maybe I will have to get back to this game and see if I can win.
