I really like the concept here and how all the animals move to the beat of the music! I was a bit confused at first since I didn't realize I had to move the van with the slider in the middle--I think the slider should've been mentioned in the instructions. Also, the music felt a bit repetitive, it'd be nice to have a much longer track, but I really like how the track has two layers controlled by the two records and how the frogs and penguins each move on their own unique beat!

I loved this game too much! With such simple mechanics, you made a game that became very hectic very quickly, and fit the theme well. The graphics were cute too! The one thing that took me a while to get was the bpm slider, but other than that -  it's simple to understand an excellent idea. Great work!

Having to focus on multiple things(several penguins, the frogs, and the location of the car) all while making sure your hands are in the correct location gets really hectic really fast! It's a pretty fun idea. My only thing is I feel that it starts out a little slow. The fun part is once it gets hectic, and it takes a little while to get there. I also really dig the music, especially the horns.

(also I totally feel you on just using alt f4 to close lol, if I wasn't working with a team I probably wouldn't bother with menus either)

The concept was super weird, I loved the cute art and silly music! I found the controls a bit awkward, it was hard to grab the slider right, but aside from that, good!

Developer

Great feedback, thanks a lot! As my game was based on arm and hand grab metrics, I had a hard time finding the right size colliders that could be challenging to stretch across the DJ decks but also grab everything when you wanted to . Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the concept of the game - great! Thanks so much for playing :)

A few minor hiccups here in understanding the quirks with each of the mechanics, took me a couple of tries before I realized that the cops paused a beat when a penguin was picked up. Nice overall though, I love the unique concept!

Developer

The police frogs pausing is actually a bug I didn't get round to fixing, but I hope it adds a little flavour to the gameplay so not too jarring :D Thanks for checking it out!

Really cool and unique concept, playing with a controller is really great so congrats for implementing it :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! yeah, I found the controller a much better way of interacting with the DJ set, but I couldn't rely on everyone having one of course :) Anyway, thanks so much for playing! <3

Great game. The controls were a bit messy doe! Great job overall! If you have some free time, can you give my game a try?

Developer

Yeah definitely a janky implementation of a rough idea :D thanks for playing though! I'll check out your game now! :)

The entire thing was super fun and quirky. It was easy to pick up once you figure out the controls and i could see it getting pretty hectic in a good way!

It's a super fun concept, but the controls are confusing and the instructions aren't great.

Developer

Definitely. If I had another 12 hours, I would have focussed on a better newcomer user experience on the controls, and make the difficulty more forgiving at the start to give the player time to get used to the them before ramping up the difficulty

Great fucking game!!!

Developer

Thank you! :D Love the enthusiasm!
