Super fun, and the sounds are great! It was super tricky though and a bit hard to get the controls right while fighting. But the custom design is very easy to understand and feels good to build my own version that maybe no one else has! Good job.
A very fun little game - Like a brawler Besiege. I liked the variety of things you could make, although some are definitely more powerful than others. Overall it's very fun!
I really like the presentation and the sandbox aspect of this! I had some trouble controlling the momentum of the weapon once it got going, but other than that, neat concept!
The idea is really great, I love the sandbox weapon! My only problem is that there is way too much inertia to the weapon, makes it really hard to hit something you want.
Love the idea, it fits the theme really well. This is done really well for a 48 hour jam, great work! :)
Interesting idea. I liked the dynamic difficulty of a building a horrible murder machine which you then have to dodge yourself. I think the game would have benefitted with a few tutorial levels with premade weapons, so you can understand what's useful and what's not. I worked out that the top layer could be made to rotate separately, but didn't work out why that was useful! I built a horrible scissor machine (attached) but it got gummed up with enemies! As other commenters have said, having slightly better control of the machine would improve the game a lot. Good job!
I loved the idea of building a giant rotating weapon. I think if you add the ability to press a button to pull it or maybe be able to controll the thrusters it'll be even more fun.
Such a cool idea!! Love the building and how when you lost it said ‘back to the drawing board’.
My only thing was that the background was a bit too saturated and made the projectiles almost impossible to see.
Great job! Had a lot of fun playing!
I really like the concept of your game! This has a lot of potential and I've personally not played something with a build-your-own weapon mechanic like this game.
It is a bit difficult to get the weapon to hit enemies since it typically starts swinging out of control even without boosters, but I like the presentation. The music and sound is a bit quiet, but I like what I hear. Great job!
Challenging game! I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Interesting game concept! Would like to see where it could go with some more work on the core gameplay.
I like the game's concept! It is quite hard to see the bullets your weapon shoots in the background. The ability to make your own machine of death is a lot of fun.
hi, i miss the point about losing the connection.
I had a lot of fun with this one. The amount of different mechanics was a little overwhelming on the first go, but afterwards I had a few flail ideas I wanted to try - love how creative the game allows you to be. Much potential for a full game!
By far the most ambitious game I've tried so far and you effing finished it! This is genuinely impressive for a jam game implementation. It was truly fun building thruster powered flails and I loved the bullet hell dodging gameplay. It's lacking a bit in polish, like it would be nice to feel like I could influence the swing timing and direction of the flail a bit more. But I think this is really great work!
had a lot of fun building a little killing machine!
Really satisfying having it annihilate multiple enemies at once
