How does your game fit the theme?
Not very well. I wanted to add some pushing mechanics that affected both Yin and Yang, but it's just a simple meditative game for two hands :)

It feels like playing under water. Definitley something I would play during my lunch break! Or at home, but then let my light a joint first ^^

Great.  Thanks for the feedback :)

Very Yin&Yang-y!

Developer

Thanks :)

Yo great submission yourself!

No objectives, only peace of mind. Isn't this the essence of yin and yang?👉☯️👈

Developer

Thanks for the comment.  Good job on your game too!

Nice Aesthetic. I made up a game in my head where you have to sync the movement on each side and faster sync for more bonus points. It was fun but I still lost :) .  Maybe ambidextrous people. Where were you going with this if you had more time???

Developer

Thanks for the comment.  I wanted some top-down block pushing mechanics, where Yin and Yang would have blocks on each side that only one or the other could push... But I'd never implemented that before and every thing I did just made the game worse 😅.  The next morning I removed the additional mechanics and just fine-tuned the controls. :)

Really Really like this idea, the simplicity is nice and playing around with it really gets my zen going, especial after a tense weekend of game making. All i would say is smooth the movement a bit more would really make it feel more loose and relaxed. Other than that great game!

Developer

Thanks CaptainCommander!  I planned to add more mechanics but I had so little time that everything I tried just made it worse than it was.  I found that I could kind of zone out and play for 60-90 seconds and figured "good enough".  Thanks for the feedback on the controls.

Not really sure what I played, but hey I feel more Ying Yang now I guess

Developer

I'm not sure what you played either!  Thanks for the comment :)

Congrats on submitting! The controls feel good!

I think you should mention any objectives or lack thereof just to make sure people know what to do even if there's no objective.

Developer(+1)

Thanks.  That's a good point.

Would love  a rating on my game in return!

Developer(+1)

Oh I gotcha already!   I'm giving ratings to everyone who comments on mine.  I will leave a comment once I have time to play more of the game :)

I'm a bit confused on the goal of the game?

Developer(+2)

There isn't one.

Submitted(+1)

oh ok that makes more sense now :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback.  I updated the description so the fact that there's no objective is more obvious :)

Submitted(+1)

thanks! thats a great solution
