Hahahaha I love it, mischievous penguins at it again! Cute and awesome art style paired with equally fitting sound effects. A comic for the intro to the game and not a wall of text? hell yeah!
The game mechanic is simple yet satisfying and can be challenging, using the hook then spam "space" to pull the ice floe really adds tension and excitement to the game, and those dang penguins are still throwing snow balls at me! (why? what have I done to ya o'cute little creature?). The end was satisfying too hahaha get to have my hot cocoa with my doggo and umm pengo? we cool now? hahaha Well done I really enjoyed it, and adding that timer really makes me keep coming back to beat my previous score.

It has everything: a small story, beautiful graphics, a fun, original mechanic that is 100% in the Jam's theme, some challenge, and is so easy to understand.

Defying InstinctsOk, i got 46.50 seconds after a few tries. I really liked this game. Well done! The controls are clever, the mechanics are clear and fair. The penguins are jerks. That's a great package. Well done!
It'd be fun to see a little more risk/reward gameplay. Like perhaps a jump, but it makes you lose control or slide a bit because it's ice?
Overall, fantastic work. Really enjoyed this!

SlimeboundDude, the title intrigued me enough to move my mouse over this game in the list, and then the image of the cover with the hilarious dude in the ice block absolutely cracked me up so I HAD to play this! It's pretty fun, and very clever! I didn't get if the goal was to reach a certain distance or if it was just an infinite runner type of game. Well done though!

The balancing is a bit too much on the frustrating side for my taste. Never in my life have I wanted to throw a grappling hook at the face of a penguin so much. But I pushed through and the final image was well worth the struggle!
