I'm not too familiar with visual novels or narratives so I can't offer that much feedback, but this is a really cool art style and I haven't seen a visual novel take on the theme, so you're the first. I like the written dialogue and the artwork that goes along with the story, you've made some cool stuff here.
Also quite impressive you drew all of this in the time allotted despite not being colored, good job!
Not sure if I'm the first, although if I were to be honest with you, it's not really the style I wanted but fortunately, people seem to accept it! Hah maybe if I continue with this project, I will let the art style stay!
I would like a little more 'Show' than 'Tell' but the story is good and can evolve to something even better. Good job!
Hi, thank you for playing! I can understand the thing about 'show' and 'tell'. Tbh, there were many things that I want to 'show' but as you can see from the UI and incomplete artwork - I did my best to finish the game within the time limit. Perhaps after the jam has ended, I will provide more depth and a much more polished game! Stay tuned!
Yeah I completely understand that's why I believe it has great potential. Good luck on the next steps!
Quite an enjoyable game :)
Even a lot of the placeholder art was good. Liked the world it built (even if I'm more a 'who cares if we're cyborgs' type when it comes to these types of stories) and liked the little bit of branching. Can't wait to see it fleshed out more!
