Cute and fun game, simple but cool art style, I deffinetly enjoyed playing this game. Great entry, congrats on finishing the jam its quite a challenge.
I hope you have some time to review my game as well.
I liked the little dialouges with the iteams a lot. Maybe improve a bit on the graphics. The concept is good and could be turned into a really nice game.
Very fun and cute game! I had a little giggle every time I saw the happy face :) There were some creative ways to cut our rope apart and the climbing was a nice touch! Great job!
@MintyJulep concept is good, I think you should definitely make a proper game out of it by updating the character and environment :)
Simple but fun, easy but not boring. I really enjoyed the humor in the game, it brings me back to those sweet times when I was young :D
To anyone who has trouble with ledge climb You have to hold directional control the whole time when you want to climb so it's for example Hold Left arrow, Space, Space again.
I fear I only got to the point where I was supposed to ledge climb, because I wasn't able to ledge climb. I couldn't jump high enough and tried pressing all kinds of keys and it didn't work unfortunately. Nice idea, I think cutting the rope could be the first step in solving the level, then afterwards it could add to complexity if both run around separately. But interesting idea, nice job!
It's a cute little prototype ! A bit basic, but a good attempt for a 48h jam (no, wait, "submitted 17 hours, 9 minutes before the deadline", that was a 24h game jam for you !) The interactions with the objects were funny, and I enjoyed the choice of the music :).
My main critisism is that the theme was mostly used for the visual design (two character appears to be linked together), but not for the gameplay. It makes the game playing like any other platformer ^^'.
Otherwise, good job =) !
The idea is really cool! Unfortunately the ledge climb didn't work for me :/
It's a bit hard to execute ;)
Cool idea! I think it might be more interesting if the characters could be controlled semi-independently, or at least if there was some kind of non-perfect joint between them. Because they control as a single unit, it felt more like just a normal platformer.
Short and sweet! I like how you used different objects in the game to cut the rope. It would be interesting to see this game expanded with more levels with other creative scenarios.
Fun to play! Just need some more visual polishing and more levels.
I like the concept a lot! Nice work!
Nice idea, I think you should try and fix your art because it has gone blurry
Neat idea, really liked it! The controls were great, and the gameplay was good. Great work!
Neat game, and concept. Short and sweet. the only tip I can give is 1: better art, art can be hard especially in a game jam. 2: Turn off texture filtering so you don't get that blurring effect. But good job for making it 17 hours before the jam!
Cool game!
Art tends to be hard for a programmer, so I’d open-source the next time around it if were you. I constantly do so!!. The controls were tight and awesome for a platformer.
Great entry, really liked the song too.
Cute concept. Would have liked to see more complex object interactions instead of the platforming.
Cute concept and lots of new mechanics introduced in each level. Well done, just wish there were more levels!
