Very original! Good game, I like the interpretation of the theme.
5 stars originality for sure, comrad. Very creative and fun!
That’s a very creative and in line with current world issues evaluation of what joining together means hahaha. Congrats on the game :) ps: that was a cute pun too!
Great ideia comrade! We had a similar concept in our game and used the isometric view as well, it's like what LaFrite's commented, the best way is to go full 3D and angle the camera. There're some issues with shadow distance and camera movement but it's workable. Also loved the printing SFX, very satisfying!
Thanks comrade! I started with isometric because I love 2D tilemaps, but serious facepalm for not considering 3D.
Great idea for a game. Too bad the controls were a bit clunky, maybe isometric was a bit difficult to work with ? (We tried that last year and we had a lot of trouble with the controls as well :D)
Definitely! Isometric was an uninformed decision...the look is fun but collisions are weird. Couldn't figure out how to let the player display in front of and behind the cubicles while still realistically colliding with walls.
I reckon the best way is to build everything as in 3D and just put the camera at a fixed angled to give it that isometric look
That's pretty smart!
Kind of clunky controls but the art style and mechanics are quite interesting. Overall, great work! I'd love if you tried and rated my game as well btw (:
It's a little clunky, but I enjoy the premise and charm of the game. Isometric movement was a little confusing as well, I think this game would've played better as top down
Agreed, I didn't realize at the start how awkward isometric would be to code for!
A bit confusing but I laughed out laud with the animation haha great job!
