Very fun idea! I never knew I could be afraid of a cat! lol Great take on the jam theme :D

I love this concept, being hunted by the cat feels pretty fun, I think there is lots of room to expand upon the gameplay and add more mechanics and complexity as the game doesn’t feel super fun to play in it’s current state, having some more chaos would help it go a long way :]!

Great little game. Got the hang of the controls pretty quick!

I am always drawn to games with a pun in the title. Also, you can never go wrong with a cat game.  The camera was a bit wonky at times which was disorienting, but it added to the overall suspense of the game. I like @Romain.P's idea of adding the ability to move the yarn in any direction... It might help the flow feel even better. Nice job!

Cute idea ! the house seems very big, I had some trouble controlling the yard ball, maybe adding more control like the ability to go sideways or backward could give a better feel to it !

Fun concept! The cat just wanted to play :') I think showing health for the yarn might be a good way to let players know how close they were to their demise

Great idea! Tac really does just want to play, who are we to deny him that experience?

Cat jumpscare! This has katamari vibes 😍

You made a horror game!! That cat is everywhere at all times whenever I turn the camera! The animation was really solid, and loved the screaming trumpets(?) in the soundtrack. I kinda just bolted to the bed after I found it cause the cat can't go under it and I'm a wuss :) But yeah, had fun exploring the house with that cute cat scaring the hell out of me! Great work.

Good idea ! Sometime the camera become crazy, but cat's games are the best !

Glad you liked Tac the Cat. Checked out yours, made us a little insecure(meaning it's very good) LOL

Hilarious concept! Could use a timer or other scoring system - was fun finding the hidden toys around the map. Had a jumpscare at the end where the cat pounced from behind screen. Cute game!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed and noticed the cat toys! We had a lot of fun making and hiding them. And yay you got to experience a jumpscare from Tac the Cat! Tac is a sneaky boy sometimes

Cool "open world" game! Never thought I would be running from a cat as a ball of yarn haha

art is cute. i wish i could move faster/ also the house is very dark there are moments that i couldnt see anything. some rooms are death traps

The music is really good but the controls are a bit weird. I still had a lot of fun playing.
I'm missing a high score counter so I can improve my time.

That was a cool idea! Nice job on the music!

Quite hard to control, but it was fun still! Cute game ahaha!

First, the music is really cool!! I love how the chromatic sounding piano comes in (I kinda wish it played more bass notes because they're cool), and the smoother second section is a great contrast.

I was kind of confused about the goal of the game though. I now assume that the goal is to survive as long as possible, but to make that more clear it'd be nice to have a timer (that would also give the player an idea of how well they did). Also it'd be nice if you weren't forced to face forwards at all times so that you could see the cat behind you.

Good job on finishing though :) the house looks nice and the music is my favourite part

I like the premise, and the art style is pretty appealing. I liked how the yarn ball looked. The controls were a bit wonky, it would have been nice to be able to back up as well. Also had a weird drag where it was usually pulling to the right. Increasing the deadzones for the mouse might help a bit but hard to say for sure. Also I wish the camera was tilted a bit farther up just so I could see more of the art and layout because I really loved the look of the house.

Love the idea of running away from the cats as a yarn ball as well. It reminded me a bit of "I Am Fish" in a good way.

The camera and the controls are very weird
