Oh! Just like our team, you've made a dungeon-style game! But what's unexpected is that it's combined with physics, letting players control the tilt of the terrain to move the character! Quite interesting!
I had a good time with this game. Its to difficult to win with all followers but very intuitive and fun main mechanic. And graphic is awsome.
Very nice aesthetics! And also generally a pretty fun game, sort of like those infuriating wooden ball maze toys. I wonder if the RPG / dungeon crawler theme could have been explored a bit deeper?
Followers were a bit of a weird addition. At first, I thought they were enemies (if something charges at me in a dungeon, my gut reaction is it’s probably evil. And after I figured it out, I became way too careful trying to save them (albeit still not successfully) until I realized I enjoy the game more if I just don’t care for them. So thanks for making them optional!
In general, this game feels very speedrunny, so much that I’d consider adding a (somewhat lenient) timer even for casual players.
(Real story: I bookmarked this game pretty late yesterday when I was already half asleep and thought to myself “oh, wow, that third screenshot looks really realistic!”. I should probably start leaving the house a bit more often again)
Haha, I love that reply! Especially the end bit.
Definitely could see this going into a speed run direction. I even felt myself doing so while testing it. The end goal of the game could go in multiple directions right now, we are thinking about which would be the best. A more rpg-like combat and character based version, or a maze survival version, or twisting the topic even more and making traps into treasures and for us to try to hold the enemies back from taking it!
Infuriating in the best way possible. Reminded me of those puzzles where you navigate a ball through a maze by tilting it. I'd be interested to see what would change if you could tilt larger chunks of the dungeon, or even the whole thing. Loved the visuals and sound effects. Overall a great entry :)
We tried a bit with one larger tile (at the end of last level) but didn't have much time to iterate on it. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Awsome game! Stering is really intuitive and difficulty is on spot :D
Great game! It's pretty difficult to finish the level without followers dying :D Overall very fun and amazing art <3
Cool Game and Unique Idea with stunning graphics!
Awesome art, lighting, and execution of the reverse of a classic :)
This was an amazing idea! Nice work!
The mechanic is so original, and the art is polished. Really fun to play. There is so much potential in this demo that it should become a real game : ) Well done!
Solid gameplay and really cool graphics! You did a really good job
Really cool, the best game I've played so far in the jam! The gameplay feels original, the art looks good, very solid concept!
That's a really clever way to approach the theme
The game looks amazing, and you can tell that thought was put into the level design
I mean, the water shader looks amazing (and I can tell a thing or two as a shader invader). I want the "Hmm-hmm" sound effect as my message ringtone. All in all, that's one of the most enjoyable games I played today. The other guys were very tricky to save in the later levels (as they experienced a severe case of epilepsy sometimes), but the overall concept and visuals made up for these small flaws evey jam game has.
Great stuff, the gameplay is fun and challenging, the controls feel nice even on pc and the presentation is original. The whole thing is very creative.
For the downer side, FPS were pretty low from my laptop. Twice i fell in the crack between 2x2 platform and the next at the end of the last level, which was pretty frustrating. I think that's a bug?
The 2x2 platform is tricky indeed. It's passable but it is kind of a bug too. Glad you enjoyed it :
this was very cool to play and i could definitely see myself coming back to play this with morning coffee
Very nice, dude! I loved the way you incorporated the theme. Definitely enjoyed it!
Pretty dope!
Nice
Very nice game! Well polished and the loop is good. I find it pretty impressive to do such game in the span of 2 days!
