As a HUGE fan of Godzilla, I'm really glad to have played such an entry into the jam.

I didn't like how turning left and right were reversed, I don't think you need to go that deep into the theme. Other than that it was pretty great! I do feel that the people with headphones are surprised at the roar of Godzilla. GG! Very cute and clever! If you have time, could you try out our game?

Developer

The left and right are not reversed... 🤷‍♀️

oh junk. I played it wrong. I'm replaying it now. Will you check out my game if you have time?

Submitted(+1)

Ok I played it! I loved it! GGG!

RIP headphone users. The gameplay was pretty fun once I figured out what was going on with the turning... BUT what I really enjoyed was Godzilla smiling back at me the whole time.

Thats a clumsy elephant (what)! managed to get 400 that's the best I can do. Very joyful and a lot of fun! Please check out mine as well!

Godzilla building stuff is funny. Not sure why he keeps falling over though.

Developer(+1)

He is clumsy 🤷

Submitted(+2)

Controlling Godzilla is so much fun, especially with the setting that he can turn around quickly and sometimes even trip and fall. It's really amazing!

waht dat dino doin

me clumsy :D

the controls are super cool! they are simple and very unique, i think that really stands out :)

i also love how everything has shadows, that makes building more difficult, niice

i would maybe only have less time to finish each building if you choose to have this mechanic, as at some moment a have more than a couple of minutes and me no worry any more :D

also i didn't immediately figure out that there is an "arrow godzilla" on the main screen and tried to play there...oops :)

lots of fun though!

Ah, yes, momentum-based tank controls!

Although it was difficult, the control always felt responsive and clear. I especially like the falling over mechanic; it gives some real stakes to turning.

Simple but  effective concept! Really liked the  presentation, it's minimalist but has a ton of personality imo!

Thank you so much. We were very much inspired by Mini Motorways and I believe that contributed greatly to that feeling :D

This is a really well-designed and thought-out game for the theme. I love the Godzilla portrait in the corner when you play! Extraordinary Job!

Submitted(+2)

Love how the difficulty naturally increases as you go, great job!

Developer(+1)

That's what we were going for, thanks for your appreciation :D

Is Godzilla drunk ?!

Cool little game, it's nicely polished and we do have the feeling of controlling a HUGE monster

Developer

Just a bit clumsy from pulling off an allnighter rebuilding cities ;)
