Was so mad that animals in Animal Crossing don't cross regularly, so this game already sparked my interest.

Joking aside, it's an interesting concept, but I did some stupid stuff on my first go, like accelerate a car into an animal instead of speeding up the animal so he can make it. I think the powers should either affect only animals or only obstacles, not both. Should streamline powers a bit.

The game is extremely polished, looks extremely good and it is extremely tough. Couldn't save two-three animals in a row.

Thank you !

Indeed we realized we should have focused more on the power cards and eventually have a twist there.

oh well, so many other items we would have loved to have !

you know you can use the cards as fast as you want, this may help to have a few animals passes at first, when you have multiple animals crossing at the same time, this is were it starts to be difficult :)

Thank for the feedback about the name ;)

cheers!

Didn't even reach that point in the run lol

How is this a jam game? The quality is already for steam release. Lol. I wish more people can see this game. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! well we were 6 people which helps a lot and it was quite a rush; and as everybody else we would have loved to add more :)

Thanks!

I see we had almost the same concept idea haha, I tried your game, very cool! (Is there an end of the road tho?)

Lol yeah. Thank you! And yes there is an ending if you can survive ~2 minutes :)

Fun game, congrats on making it support online leaderboard! The visuals are very good, and the cards to 3D model is very well executed.

Hello Fuzzyzilla!

Thank you, we are proud of the result :D

Yes we had 2 animators, wich did the models, rigs and animations during the jam!

This game is very polished with a pretty fun concept!
I loved all the animations and I think the slow motion when you place the obstacles is very well made and necessary for a good game feel.
Really nice work!😍

Hello!

Thank you ❤️ Yes the animators did a very good job on the animations! For the slow motion we added it last minute, one programmer just had a flash of genius!

This was executed very well! I love that the speed slows a little when placing an obstacle but doesn't stop altogether so you have to think quickly!! Has a nice polish to it too, fantastic project!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! as long as you do not spot the bugs which we couldn't fixed on time, then everything is going well :)

Wow everything in this game looks incredible. From the menu to the wobble effect the stop sign has when being placed down. The car destroyer is awesome by the way, it's so creative. This game is like an upgraded version of crossy roads. Congrats to the whole team, you guys are fantastic. Good job!

Oh the way the cars fly away when the animal has the invincible effect is really satisfying as well

Thanks Nuffuru!

Yeah we have very talented artists in the team, the animators really did an awesome job :D

I tried your game, it looks very good, the ambiance is top notch with the oppressing music, the colors are matching the mood, it's great! A bit sad it's a bit short but there is a lot of potential in it!

Congrats to you and your team too :D

Damn, way to show up!

What an impressive entry in 48 hours. There's so many things to love here. The models are so full of life, I love the way they bound and flop around. The card mechanic is awesome, gives me those rogue like vibes. The music and sound effects are all top notch. The experience you put together here is super addicting and well crafted. The only critique I can even I think of is that initially it was unclear that the cards were supposed to be used mainly on the cars. This is one of the few I would come back to play after the jam.
Truly floored. Great work.

Thank you very much!

Indeed i watched someone play it on stream and he also had trouble understanding what to do with the cards on his first run. It's the kind of flaws that are hard to pinpoint during the jam haha!

Thanks for playing :D

Ah yes, great. Now I look at my project and I think... Gosh I wish I had a team.
Also, you can use the abilities infinitely. Was this intended?

Developer

Hi Wisik, thank you for playing, it wasn't entirely intended, but the game starts anyway to be tough after a little while, so you need to pick wisely and choose were to drop the card as some card are doing the inverse of some others;  placing them in a rush randomly usually do not help for too long ^^

Thank you for you feedback!

Hello fellow frog aficionado and thanks for trying our jam entry!

Yeah, it is kinda intended, we found the game hard enough and figured limiting the players  actions by adding a timer on card respawn wasn't needed!
