It was very fun to play your game ! Great jokes ! I'm just sad for June
However I think that you could add a bit more challenge, I feel that it's not possible to lose (maybe add more object that give life points, etc ...)
Overall, it was cool and I laughed with my sister when playing it ! Thanks !

Developer

Haha yeah that was the original plan! Time always means slashing scope, sadly…

great concept! i feel there's is too much dialogue. might break the flow!

Developer

I mean… when you have a dialogue system and not much time to design levels, go for the dialogue!

Interesting concept and fun!

Nice lil' concept. Mad to find a my immortal fanfic reference in here, alongside some real wacky writing. The health bar limiting movement is a nice idea, would like to see another game mechanic with the health bar as well to flesh out the game play. Overall really good work for 48hrs Nice one!

Lovely concept! Impressive amount of content for a weekend jam, the music is super nice too

the core concept is good, but I felt it couldve been more relevant... also the cutscenes are way too long as the other commenter said. overall a really cute game

Really interesting idea, i loved playing the game, (the finish was a little bit too much imo : /) well done.

1. When June left and the old lady came back...i thought she just aged into her.
2.  I drank grimace shakes until my entire screen said "PURE POISON".

10/10.

I was worried about that little issue with leaving the interactable on the screen… but honestly that’s the kind of stupid thing I do when I discover a glitch in someone else’s game! Glad you enjoyed!

I really love this concept, I think it's probably the most unique one I've seen so far. I love the creative use of the health bar UI to limit movement. The art is nice and clean as well so I had a pretty easy time telling what was what. I also loved the different titles you would collect in the top right, it's a fun way to reward unique interactions.

I will say that the June moments were waaay too long though. I honestly though the game had crashed after the first conversation because of how long it stayed on the empty dialogue box with no additional sounds. A short fade to black and back can make a fast transition feel more natural or if you could still move around and interact with things while she is out, that would make it feel a lot better.

Developer

Haha yeah, definitely need some sanding of the edges around the cutscenes.

I will say though, designing all the levels on less than an hour of sleep, having the player just wait through an entire thirty second song seemed really funny.

Very well polished! Looks and feels awesome! Waiting for the mom and some interactables to finish was painful though

That painting is kind of sus. Fun and well polished game.

It was fun getting achievements for eating my nasty little toys and being stinky :)
