Great submission! My only criticism would be that the levels require pretty precise movement but the off angle camera makes this a bit difficult. But overall, nice work :)

It felt hard for me to control the movement / screen rotation because it wasn't 45/90 degree increments aligned to the visuals grid. But maybe I'm just bad. It was very intriguing to get into.

Interesting concept. The restart screen is a bit annoying. I would rather just press space or R instead of waiting 2 seconds. And the movement feels a bit weird. It doesn't move smoothly but in weird increments. I mean moving in increments wouldn't be that bad if it were 45 degree or 90 degree rotations. But the character sometimes rotates 90 degrees, sometimes less than that, sometimes more and that's just really annoying
I used the same sprites for one of my first games! So much nostalgia!!! Well, the game concept is cool! The camera needs to be fixed a little, and so the difficulty (or maybe I'm just bad at it). Anyway, good job bro!
Really interesting concept but way, way too difficult and confusing right now. I'm guessing this is supposed to be a mobile game, with the rotation controlled by rotating one's phone?
Well this is quite the challenging game! Very cool concept though and it looks great. I also enjoy the music as well. I can definitely see this being developed into an awesome experience.
The game may be just a tad too difficult though... right off the bat you can die in like half a second. And like everything kills you! Touching the edge of the room, touching the edge of the tank (or is that a mage?) blast, touching those holes...etc. Combine that with the rotation mechanic, which is really cool! But the rotation doesn't seem consistent. Sometimes 90 degrees, sometimes 45, sometimes 30, etc... that makes it extra difficult to play. I think the best way as a quick fix for this jam (if things like rotation are difficult to fix) would be just to make the levels vastly simpler. Like first level literally has no enemies, second level has maybe a couple holes, third level has one enemy but very open space to avoid, etc... that would let the player easily adjust versus now it seems to just throw you to the fire! That, or maybe a health system would help as well. I did at least make it to the second level.
Anyways hopefully the feedback above isn't too harsh! I think the game is a fantastic idea and you have most of it there! It just needs a little tweaking with something to make it more player-friendly, at least in the beginning. Good job though!!
Thank you very much! Fixing is very simple and i will do many ideas if this game be liked by community. Also i am open the mistery around such annoying rotation - the rotation have a time to rotate so if press rotation button before its finished, the angle would be different :) i did this to add difficult to the game, dynamic and for fun reactions. Thank you and all other player for playing and writing reviews. I am really appreciated.
I tried for a while, but wasn't able to complete the level. The controls just didn't really work for me, with the rotating being at fixed intervals. I think if the rotation were smooth the game would be a lot less frustrating to play. The concept has some potential, though, so I might work on this post-jam to polish it up a bit.
Great entry! This was a lot harder than I was expecting, having to wiggle out of doors or get around the obstacles whilst being shot at.
Cool idea! I tried playing a bit, and the concept is really cool, but the camera rotation angle made it hard for me to play personally. Maybe if the camera rotated 90 degrees instead of at obtuse angle, I could better judge the movement of my character. Not sure if I did something wrong or not, but solid effort!
This has got a lot of potential. The vibe is totally great. Though as it is, very difficult and I couldn't keep trying since the rotation mechanic started up my motion sickness. Good work!
Difficult, disorients me a little, but great if you want to make a rage-inducing game like getting over it.
I would actually play a full game with this mechanic, in fact I remembered a Nitrome game that had something similar, I loved it. One thing I would add is more precise rotations, since most of the time I would try to "rotate just a little" and then found myself wobbling the screen up and down cause it rotated too much and died like 10 times on that first hole lmao.
