This is a really really fun one, and surprisingly a lot harder than I thought it would be (It would be unclear if the humans would actually go towards the rabbits / what their radius of detection would be at times). It ramps up nicely. I will definitely revisit this again. Great game, great work!
A really relaxing and calm game! Very well done and polishing. Maybe it's too slow. Love the visual and music!
A really chill and relaxing game had fun, the visuals and music were well executed, although it sometimes felt like i was waiting for the humans to come too much.
I know it's supposed to be an idle game, but felt like it would benefit from a little speedup, and some visual feedback for action costs since it's not obvious otherwise. But otherwise, great concept, great game feel and presentation - good stuff!
very cool idea and very well executed, the audio and graphics are polished.
Its a chill game
This was fun, although I don't think there was enough water to defend against humans at the start.
Very nice game-loop, the graphics and music brought it together perfectly. Excellent job!
So cool idea, presentation, audio and feeling! I really love game! Add some progression, cost for tree and bunny, and it's completed game. Reminded Terra Nill
I loved the art and the idea, it was very fun to play and I didn't manage to find a single bug.
This was a lovely game, it was genuinely heartbreaking when the humans took down my trees :( It fits the theme perfectly in a way that creates a new experience and feels different.
Very nice vibe. That artwork and music really make this game; it's ridiculously impressive for someone who tends to struggle a bit with the art side of things. And I'm in love with the concept. Playing as the entirety of a forest is just super cool.
Gameplay got a teeny bit repetitive. The chill atmosphere alleviated this a little though. And of course, the lack of much progression is understandable anyway given the time limit.
Overall, great work! It's a very nice, insanely polished little game!
Very good aesthetics and concept, the fact that the rabbits disappear can break the beginning of the game a little
Thank you! I wanted the game to have an urgency and active engagement so made the rabbits hide after some time. But it would be better if they can stick around longer i guess.
Very cool!
Thanks!
This is really really good! Beautiful and perfect chill aesthetic and gameplay loop. I think the only thing I would recommend changing is the frequency you get fertiliser and water droplets. Sometimes humans ignore bunnies, and since they only drop 1 fertiliser at a time, it becomes a real waiting game and can get in the way of me wanting to populate the space with beautiful trees. At the rate I was going I couldn't expand very far because I kept losing a tree for every one I gained.
Despite that balance quirk, this is awesome and a perfect showcase of this theme in a more relaxed genre and design!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for you feedback! You are right that the most satisfying aspect of the game (planting trees) must be more frequent.
Beautiful game! Very relaxing gameplay, with just the right amount of things to do without being too hectic.
Thank you!
Very fun and addicting game with a clever risk/reward mechanic for the placement of trees! The presentation is also very good with pretty pixelart and a nice music.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
I really like this game. Very relaxing. At times so relaxing that I wished there would be more to do but I love the atmosphere.
Thank you! I also wish there was more to do... I will hopefuly extend it and add features once the jam ends.
I absolutely loved the art and overall atmosphere of the game, but the gameplay did feel a little frustrating at times. It feels pretty bad when I release a rabbit right next to a lumberjack and they just ignore it ;-;
Overall, fun chill game about being The Lorax.
Thank you so much! Yes the humans miss the rabbits easily, I intend to extend their range a bit to make it more consistent.
Nice concept and really beautiful art and music! Steve there is a nice detail
Glad you liked it!
Very cool game! I really like the art style.
Thank you!
