Love it!
The level 6 was little hard for me x(

This game works really well. I love the blueprint style, it really makes you think about your strategies. Kudos for adding a level skip by the way, if my stupid tired brain gets me stuck, I can still see all the hard work you've put in after I got myself stuck. Audio is great as well, graphics are the bomb (hehe), WELL done !

This was a great game! I really liked how it made you think and worked a lot like a puzzle game. My only critique is that on the last level it was hard to align the waves in such a way so that it acted the way I wanted them to. I would allow the player to make a wave "pre-order" of sorts and then send them all as scheduled at once. Great game and wonderful presentation!

thank you for the kind words and the feedback, that was exactly what we thought for as soon as we submitted the game and saw few people try it,  making sort of a time line with the enemies order and delays, it makes you plan it even better

Wow, great job, it's a visually appealing and really polished game!

The twist on the tower-defense genre works really well, with both the concept and the execution being amazing.

Plus it's always nice to see a Game Maker game ;)

A lot harder than I thought! Really well made and super polished game 👌

Wow! pretty awesome! I also made a role reversed tower defense game, although it goes in a different direction lol.

Great cinematics and level transition. The design is also very good!

Great idea and great gameplay! I really like how simple it is and how you only need to use a few buttons to play.

I also really like how the difficulty increase is very smooth for each level!

I think it would be nice if the "Buy Invader" button was made more obvious that it's clickable by differentiating it from the defender's UI

I'd appreciate it if you could check out my team's submission too!

Unique twist on rower defense. The execution is stunning, its hard to believe it was made in 48 hours.

I like the aesthetic of the blueprint design. I don't remember how far I got (I tried to go to the home menu to see how many levels there were). overall good playing and looking game.

I Love The Game... Maybe Don't Have It Load The Tower Every Time As In The Later Stages It Becomes Some What Annoying, I Love The Art And The Blueprint Background :D

thank you! I added the skip button for that and was planing on making it auto skip on restarts but didn't have the time to implement all features

This was a great game! I wish it were longer! I didn't know how this would be executed, but it turned out great.

It's truly astounding what you folks accomplished in a jam! The level of polish is simply incredible. The meticulously designed levels, impeccable game feel, and the inclusion of quality-of-life features showcase all your attention to detail.

I must admit, I was skeptical about the idea initially, as I couldn't envision how strategy could be incorporated into this formula. However, you've made it work. Your game has transformed the tower defense concept into a captivating puzzle experience. Super creative material!

Congratulations on submitting such an innovative game! Hope to see it on the top 20!

This game was so fun. It offered a new and creative perspective on tower defense. This game is so engaging and requires deeper level thinking to pass levels something that is very rare for games to include.

Ok, so I have played the game and I have finished it. But to review it, let me dive.

Theme-wise: the game does really fit in the theme, and as a fan of tower defense games, I really liked the shift in thinking (and now I understand how the PC was feeling when I prevented him to reach the end line :))

Level-Design and game-design: unlike many tower defense games, the level really needs deep thinking to design and to beat. It's not as obvious as spawning enemies randomly and have the dopamine hit from the animations and the win. it really make you put your cells to work.

UX wise: thinking to have a "skip intro" and "mute sound" is really a plus, since usually the player get bored of the music. I'd push it a bit further to disable the first animation when the player restart the level, but I understand this is in a jam and sometimes doing something as easy as removing animation can be time consuming but I can live with that.

Polishing: I didn't feel that this was developed in a jam, it feels smooth and enjoyable to play, and to be honest, I'd even play it like it is and I'd say that it's a complete game.

I would love to see this in a game store and I'd buy it and play it.

Good luck :)

I didn't manage to beat level 6, but what a game! Love it!

Thank you! your submission was great too, I just played it

Love the game, like how the levels require strategy to complete. I did have resolution issues though so I didn't play for very long, just till level 3.
