really challenging gameplay and as the game gets more difficult with time constraint it really made the players think about the strategy they use

love the artstyle!

yes, it would be more interesting if we designed levels that require precision platforming while doing resolution changes, but at the start we didn't expect the transition between resolutions to work so well in motion. with that said, it is entirely possible to make the levels more interesting if we included that.

Since 32x32 tiles aren't included, it is rather easy to make sprites in 8x8 or 4x4 as it is downgrading from 16x and does not require much of an effort. the real pain was when you have to import the assets 4 times and build the exact same level 4 times, which took us almost 2 days and frustrated. And with the button bind, yes, it was one of the many elements that were put aside as the game was still unable to run even on the last hour before submission. anyway, thx for the comment!

animation in pixelart is generally easy if the character is not as complicated,I'd say its a nice attempt

this is rather addictive, VERY well polished

There's always a bigger fish
Every fisherman quit before they hit big

love that character animation :0

omg we had the same interpretation of the theme! we made a game about resolution scaling as well! also that is a cute dragon :)

There were so many stuff broken during the build phase of the game ;-; we literally only got it working at the last 20 minute of the jam so a lot of elements are either missing or half broken...... it is a miracle that the game runs tho, and we do hope to fix the issues and bring back some of the content deleted in the future

This is so much fun, kinda feel like an reverse hotline miami and loved the part where any agent u spawn is randomized with different weapon and movement speed

WOW I can really see a whole indie title from this concept! Amazing work!

audio? also i have to randomly smash the keyboard to find out that [G] was firing pellets and [H] was for building barricades. its sad that both sides have to use the same key for action also one can just smash [G] for as quick as possible at the beginning round to claim victory without the need for a round 2.

very interesting concept, love the artstyle, love the gameplay, not exactly sure why the font for the tutorial hurts my eyes and a bit hard to understand

certainly amazing game! love how polished it is and how it gets increasingly difficult with a bit strategy in it.

interesting concept and just amazing to see portals in a jam

This is so polished! love the presentation

imagine being such a big fish that u drag the fisher down the water, still glad to play as the one being fished in stardew valley

The map feels weird as its just rooms with a circular hallway where there isn't much chasing going on, and there really isn't much tension as the bar doesn't drop as quick as it to be significant for me to go scare the humans for an refill. Love the sound effect when you scare someone and the whole concept of being able to jumpscare whatever human that come disrupt this haunted house, its really fun to scare ppl instead of being the one getting jumpscared.

the background has almsot the same color as the pipes, a bit confusing

Amazing game! almost addictive

HATS!

A generally brilliant idea, also the game is insanely polished for 48h

goose!

interesting level design, really great work in 48h

really interesting visuals! love the way how you presented it

I remember playing a similar themed game back on PSP and its just amazing to see such game in a 48h event like this, loved it

wow this is really well crafted, amazing music

I believe there's also a submission called vampire no survivors that have a similar theme with a different approach, cool games
