This is hard yet fun, reminding me of that video "what designers expect from the users"
if the information and execution get wrapped and reshaped it'll be a Soulslike game ( what
Very cool concept and also well executed. Good job on this guys! :)
1160 😎
I don't know if that was only with me, but the keys A, S, D didn't work in the pc. Played on mobile and really liked it tho!
Cool game, easy to get the idea and a nice challenge (even more to someone who's bad at multi-tasking)
Thanks for giving it a shot on mobile even after running into a problem on PC! It's very concerning that the A, S, and D keys didn't work for you... I haven't seen that happen at all and don't know what could cause it. If anyone else reading this encounters that bug, please let me know!
Hey, I found out that it was a bug in my keyboard driver 😭😭
Changed keyboards and it worked fine
Was really hard at first, but when I understood the colors it helped a lot! I'll probably try it on mobile later!
This game has an interesting twist on the idea of scaling and looks like a full made mobile game, but I had a really hard time clicking the right size.
Anyways good luck on your next jams!
Thanks! The game was designed and balanced for keyboard and mouse. I added mobile swipe controls at the last second, so there are definitely improvements I could make in that regard.
I think this is a really good take on the theme. I had a bit of a hard time determining which size went with which shape. I like how the game is extremely simple, but also difficult.
Fun game! Very smart to color-code the shapes so it's easy to know exactly what size you need to match them!
Very original take on the theme, and great execution :)
Cool game! Took some time for me before I learned how to not get too flustered sizing up the catchers ;D
It's a fun concept and the polish in this game is really solid. I would probably just tweak the controls a bit, but it's neat!
Thanks! Just curious - What would you change about the controls?
The backseat designer in me might reccommend using a focus. So A and D move the focus left and right between the different shapes, and W and S shift the size. Not 100% sure the best solution, it just took some getting used to, cool game regardless.
Very cool! It would be also fun if there was only one shape and lots of sizes so player must adjust it best they can.
This is such a creative twist for rhythm games! Really like it, even if I suck at these kind of games hehe
nice and crisp gameplay... was this intended to be a mobile game perhaps? since it does comes across that way
Thanks for the comment! I actually didn't have mobile in mind at all until a friend suggested it 2 hours before the deadline. I frantically worked up until the last minute to add in the touchscreen swipe controls haha. I do like how it feels on mobile though and I plan on developing it further!
Its a cool idea but difficult to play. Very fun once you get used to the controlling.
Very challenging! Took me a little bit to get my fingers and brain to work correctly haha high score 1100
So simple, so addictive. Really well balanced with the way the shapes change in a way that is not impossible to play, but still challenging. Well done!
Music slaps
I could see this being a nice game to play on a quick break, but also pretty intense as the speed ramps up
