That was fun! Didn't take me too long to understand how the game worked. It reminded me of old flash games that had kind of an arcade feel to it, like this one. I also enjoyed the multitasking aspect of it. The music choice was also really good!
It was also a good idea to prevent people from being able to spam click the servers. This is super solid and quite fun, especially for a game put together in such a small amount of time. Nice work!
I am a little confused about what makes my money go down over time, so I never got very far
The game was fun, and simple
The music fit pretty well, and the writing never got in the way
Thank you for the review! The idea for money going down over time was the real time costs of running the servers - but I agree, that could be adjusted and explained a bit more - starting out with money going down fast is not the best feeling for new players
An interesting idea that fits the the theme well, and well executed for a game made in one day! Having to manage the two different fail states added some interest to a fairly straightforward game. I enjoyed the artwork and music as well!
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that!
I like the idea and how it fits the theme! Very fun gameplay.
Thank you! I'm glad to hear that the gameplay was fun!
I saw many people considering this concept, but this is how you do it!
It didn't take itself overly serious. it didn't try to be this big complicated simulation, it mixed the idea with a format that works much better as a game jam game and I think that's awesome.
My only feedback would be to have the game start out a little slower, by the time it told me to click on the red lights to restart, my server had been on red for a while.
All in all, a great idea with an even better execution!
Thanks for the feedback - I've tried to leave out the realism part out of there, since I thought it would've been too much if I required player to log into a server and manage it this way.
For the starting slower part - I did several adjustements with the difficulty, but I agree that it goes too fast at start and is overwhelming to the player - will adjust
Interesting concept!
Thank you! I plan to remake the game after the jam ends into more of a roguelike clicker
