Awesome entry! allowing yourself to feel powerful but is still balanced properly. Only feedback i can give is to have more impact when spawning drones and hitting enemies - just to make it more satisfying and make you feel even more powerful
for spawning the drones, having an unique sfx play when you spawn each drone would be nice and for the hitting enemies part, maybe having a subtle flash can help
I loved the graphics, it fits so well, and the game is so well polished. The gameplay was a lot of fun, just missing an easier way to get more drones, getting a few flying rocks that you can barely see was pretty hard with so many bullets on the screen.
The performance was painful, most of the time I was playing in slow motion, even with only 2 or 3 enemies on the screen (I was playing in the executable version), I am not sure if this is an issue with my hardware, but it was hard to continue playing.
While the game is not perfectly optimized, most other people seem to not have any issues with performance. Could you send me the specs of your machine so that I can figure out what's going on?
Sure, it isn't really good, I have a laptop with a Ryzen 5 5500U and 24 GB of RAM with an integrated graphics card, so that may be the issue.
No, your specs are absolutely overkill. But it's still puzzling, as the game can run at a pretty stable 60 FPS on a 4 year old mid-range smartphone.
Could you perhaps send me some footage of the game on your end? It might help me.

This is really abnormal poor performance. What version of windows are you using? And do you have any particular/unusual software running in the background?
I am using windows 11 and no, nothing running on the background.

I liked the idea of spawning drones from enemy scraps, and gameplay was fun too. The visuals are also really cool.
Two major problems for me were that there wasn't enough juice when you damage an enemy like a hit flash or some particles so you can't really tell that you are hitting an enemy while your eyes are not focused on the enemy while trying to dodge bullets, the other was the ui around the ship was kind of big so it makes it hard to see around the player and makes it hard to dodge bullets since it looks more crowded and you can't tell where the bullet is exactly.
Besides these two issues i had fun, good job!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! The hit flash is something that the next build will have, but about the ship UI... isn't it see-through when projectiles and enemies go through it?
Objects should be entirely visible (although filtered into a different color when going through the health bar (...wait, is it even a bar?)
Could you send me some screenshots or footage on your end? It'd be a real help, especially since recently, there has been some graphical bugs with firefox specifically.

Really liked the aesthetic of this one, and it was really fun to watch the screen get progressively more flooded with your drones as you try to avoid enemy projectiles.
Its like watching a sensory video. Super awesome! I wish the UI around your player wasn't so large, its a little distracting.
The honing missiles from the drones are super fun! The art is a great choice and aesthetic!
