This game is a beautiful mess. It's rough around the edges but I kept wanting to play again after losing. There are a lot of mechanics that probably need some numbers tweaking (increasing in size & getting slower is a bit brutal for dodging), but overall, the game was really fun, and it ended up being one of my longest played games of the jam. Congrats on submitting your first ever game!

The game start hard. I think it is the bullet speed that makes it difficult from doge at the beginning. But I like that we have a lot of life to understand the game and experiment with it.

it's kinda hard and challenging and I find the camera shake is too janky, but I like the idea of getting to select the perk for the run which it give players a replayability, very cool! ^^

I got a score of 285, which I don’t think is too bad!

Really impressive for a first game. I like the upgrade system a lot and the shooting felt nice and juicy! I do think the gameplay loop could be tidied up, though. The enemies’ shots were almost impossible to avoid, and eventually you get so slow all you can do is stand there and die. (I know I could avoid this by not eating enemies, but that’s the main mechanic of the game!)

Thanks for the feedback! You can actually decrease your size by either dashing or using the Slime Split power up. I might add more ways to decrease your size later. Thank you for playing!

That's really good top-down shooter game, kinda hard, but I like it because is challenging!! Also when player dies, with animation of "You Died" like at Dark Souls game xD very interesting, well done

Playing this game, the first thing I noticed was the music and the gunshots were very loud, and despite me muting it after I died, it wouldn't actually mute. I like the concept a lot, but I think other factors need to prioritised first. Overall, very good attempt on your first game! Not many people even finish their first project, so it's one step forward to greatness!

I thought it was really fun, I got to a score of about 90 I think, it felt a little too hard to dodge bullets at times and I'm not sure why but I could only dash a few times and then couldn't for the rest of that life, I think being able to dash more would help a bit also maybe slighty increase the speed of just movement in general a bit, I liked the art it was cute and charming, the slimes are very cute and silly I love them, and the guns are very funny,  I do think a few more animations could be good and some more impact when you kill enemies such as particle effects, overall a fun game! You did a good job :)

Thanks so much! The number of dashes you have is based on the battery symbol, and you can get more by either eating enemies or by killing them with a gun, however the latter is only about a 10% chance. I did have animations on the main character but it ended up breaking the scaling 20 min before the deadline so I had to remove it in a rush. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Ah okay that makes more sense! But yeah I think maybe more battery perhaps just so I can dash more often because I felt it was a tad too hard, and that is a shame about the animations, I enjoyed it still it was fun! :))
