Love the art of this game. Very clean and polished!

This is a great game. I loved everything about it. Yes, there are only two stages, but there is a lot of potential. The puzzles were so well made. The only issue I had was with targeting the object that I wanted to scale. Sometimes it was not scaling the object that I intended to do. But soon, I figured out how to go with this and completed the game with ease and fun. However, that's a minor issue that can be easily fixed with more time for development. Well done!

You only have two levels right? I think it’s an interesting mechanic, I think it’s a strong starting point but then we need more mechanics to work around. Like rolling balls to use a specific way to press a button or something like that you know? Nice game anyway.

Awesome little game! I love the theme and art style. Like others have said, the laser sound is a little "harsh". It would be cool to have 1 sound each spell cast.  Great game though!

Thank you for the valuable feedback. Yes, that laser sound is a bug and I couldn't figure out how to fix it before submission.  I have changed it now. Thank you!

Pretty cool game, neat mechanics. Jump button or ability to walk a little up is required tho, cause it is a bit clunky to control. Great effort! Good luck with your future project!

Also if you play & rate my game it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for playing! Happy that you enjoyed it! Yes, you are right, I couldn't polish the game well enough to have smooth controls.  My idea was to make the character navigate the world entirely using scalable platforms, but wasn't smooth in execution. I made improvements based on your feedback. Thank you for the wishes!

Sure I will play & rate your game :)

These backgrounds were amazing, great use of color and variety!

Unfortunately Scandalf (as great as he is) struggles to jump which makes the platforming rather tricky and clunky

Would love to see more tales of Scandalf the Scandalous 😎

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to include all the backgrounds in the game. Also as you pointed out the controls are not smooth. I have made improvements to the game and will be uploading a webGL version once the jam is done.

Thank you!
