I really had a lot of fun while playing. I also liked the option to calibrate the input. The beat really slapped. The ending was very cute. All in all, great game. I would suggest uploading a .zip tho, since Windows really screamed at me for downloading and executing a random .exe file.
Cute! The ending was cute and funny. I appreciate the inclusion of calibration, that's a great QoL feature that could make or break a rhythm game like this. I do think it would be better if the player moved on the same tick as all the obstacles (assuming you hit the beat) so that you can't dodge some obstacles by hitting late or early. I think the art could maybe read a little better, either making the obstacles bigger or giving them some sort of consistent outline to make them stand out. The tells on the workers were really good though, I like that you can see what they're going to do a few beats before. Great game, really enjoyed it!
Fun cat go up. Good game
very fun game, is really easy to miss the beat haha
Don't see how it fits the built to scale, but definitely fun and entertaining.
We were going with scaling a building as the cat and scales like in music.
Nice concept! I was surprised to see a rhythm game in this jam, but you did a great job!
really fun idea! My rhythm skills are the worst so i didn't get very far. maybe a difficulty setting would be nice that allows for a larger time window on easier difficulty.. but honestly, it's probably just a skill issue on my part either way XD
Very cute! Love the Crypt of the Necrodancer inspiration, pleasant music and the mechanics felt pretty fun. Good sprite work, fun concept. I won't spoil the ending, but its worth climbing the building!
