I really enjoyed this game! The atmosphere and the visuals are fantastic. Loved the little detail where the small character had the key on his back, if you had one. The music and sound design was perfect, the music was gentle but mysterious and the sound effects were subtle, it created the feeling of exploring somewhere abandoned but full of secrets. The puzzle design was good, not too difficult but still engaging, I played the game all the way through to the end.

The only place I really got stuck was very early on, in the room in the screenshot below. I feel that the door itself is a bit misleading, I saw the lock on it, but it also looks like there's a hole in it where the small version could fit through (the little black spot in the bottom left). It made me think the lock was a distraction and getting the little guy onto the platform was the goal of the room, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. Eventually I did figure it out when I finally saw the "key not found" text at the top.

As others have said, the camera could be a bit difficult. Personally, the mouse click to rotate felt odd to me, and it took a while to get used to. I feel that maybe Q/E for camera and mouse for interact may have been more intuitive, but that may just be me. It also felt way too zoomed in when I was in the smaller form. Also, the ice physics on the movable blocks was a bit difficult to work with.

Overall though, really great game for a four day game jam, I had a lot of fun playing it!

Awesome game! I really appreciate the puzzle environment and the use of the main mechanics, even if the camera is annoying sometimes

Developer

I'm glad you liked it!

Fun game with a cool setting and great graphics.

I struggled a bit with the camera and the moving block (they often got stuck and I had to restart), but great game otherwise congrats!

Very nice! I dig the vibe especially. Puzzle design is simple but keeps you engaged. The secrets are cool, I missed a few but they feel right, not in the way so not trivial but not horribly hard to find.

The one thing I think brings the experience down is the camera, the angles feel quite restraining and it points mostly at the ground when you're small. Making third person 3D cams is so hard.

The different elements come together quite nicely and it feels like a finished little game!

Thank you very much for the feedback 5uso! and yeah the angle fixed camera system was a questionable decision haha we will do better next time for sure!

Good puzzles, love the idea and vibe. Biggest pet peeve i had was the camera when i was smaller felt like it was too close. Otherwise nice entry ^^

Good puzzle design. Great atmosphere and soundtrack. I'm surprised by the big amount of levels made in such a short time. Movement is really stiff and could be greatly improved. The pillars that you need to move also feel off, almost like they are sliding on ice and sometimes get stuck so you need to restart the level and do everything again. I like the concept overall and enjoyed the game. Good work!

I love the look and general vibes! Feels like TUNIC or Breath of the Wild somehow.

Developer

The concept is interesting, and game looks good. One annoying thing is how the character stops everytime after jumping—it kind of breaks the dynamics.

Developer

Thank you for your feeback Vuqo! and yeah I definitely have to work on my character movement juice, I'll do better next time

Thank you SplitMilkTeam, we even had to cut some features because we didn't had enough time, there is code for crow enemies and grass patches to hide from them.
I'll make sure to test your game as well thank you for playing ours!

camera and player movement feel a bit wonky, but great execution for a jam. love the work

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yes we had to leave the camera and character like that at the end, but sure can be better, thanks!
