Really nice execution of a quite common idea!

Super good game. Even though I found quite good strategy placing it well was still challenging (especially in wind) so game was ballanced really good. In the bottom it was more about a solid base and higher you go it was about perfect timing with the wind. It was thrilling to place last blocks of stage because tower was always falling in that hight, and when I finally made it, it felt great.

Good job.

tower building games are always fun! this one plays super well !
The quotas on the left don't seem to matter now but I played by the intended rules (I think) and tried to even them out, which is quite the challenge, nice work guys !

Stacking things up is fun!
However I am not sure how much attention I should pay to the numbers on the left. The goals here are not very clear.

Thanks, currently the numbers are not very meaningful. We planned on adding costs to buildings but never found a good balance between restriction and building freedom, that will be done in the future.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the game. Felt limited in terms of the types of building shapes that would work. Possibly a wider range of building shapes and also a flip or rotate mechanic would be cool.

Developer

Thanks. ^^ We will add more buildings in the future.

It definitely needs something to mix it up a little bit just to discourage using the same safe pattern over and over. But it's a great little thing!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you mean. We were planing on having to pay with resources to build new buildings.  That would force the player to use different buildings.

I dont know why I find these tower building games so addictive! Amazing job with the art and overall aesthetics. Great job!

Developer

Happy to hear you enjoyed playing! And thanks for the feedback.

5/5 aesthetic! Wow such a vibe. I would really love to see the points system more fleshed out and see how managing that plays into the build approach. Also a mirrored image of the penny arcade would help with more balanced and creative builds. I always felt like I didn't want to use the Penny Arcade because it would cause asymmetry. Wonderful music and pixel aesthetic goes great with the cyberpunk genre. Would play this as a mobile game with a more fleshed out game loop.

Thank you.  c: We actually planned on adding a Bubble Tea shop, which would work as a mirrored version of the arcade. But we sadly ran out of time, beforehand. Now that you say it, I can really see how this game fits into the mobile market.

Very nice aesthetic! The gameplay reminded me a bit of a City bloxx Nokia game that was popular about 15 years ago...good old days :D

I liked that you have different blocks to built from but didn't really inderstand what difference it makes if i use each of them. Maybe with resourses' consumption  and various tasks it would be a bit clearer!

Developer

Thanks! I looked up 'City bloxx Nokia'. You are right, it looks quite similar, what a coincidence!

We were planing on having to pay with resources like residents to build new buildings. That would force the player to build different types of buildings. But we ran out of time and didn't find a good balance.^^'

Fun game! The cyberpunk games always slap XD didnt really see why to use other buildings then the living capsules. But with some goals set it would make a interesting puzzle game.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, we were planing on having to pay with resources like residents to build new buildings. That would force the player to build different types of buildings. But we ran out of time and didn't find a good balance.^^'

I really enjoyed it! I can tell you really put a lot of effort into thinking about the theme in a unique way and the style was just perfect!

Developer

Happy to hear you enjoyed playing! The style was inspired by the Tokyo Nakagin Capsule Tower.

I love it! The music was really nice and suited the game perfectly. And the style ! I could only give a 5 star for Enjoyment and Style! it's amazing, great work! (I didn't fully understood the points mecanics tho? Like I believed there was something about getting a balance between the ressources, but at the same time, we were not especially rewarded for that, or at least I didn't notice it.) Loved the game tho

Thanks so much! c: Our first idea was that you have to pay with resources to build new buildings but finding the right balance between payment and reward was just too time-consuming. So we threw that mechanic out mid-way and exchanged it for a simple score. However, this is something that we definitely want to revisit in the future^^'

Yeah I understand, 4 days was a bit short. But you managed to make your simple concept really shine by polishing the other aspects!
GL For the future !

I love the combination of citybuilding with physics.  Gameplay-wise, I like showing a placement region as a way of supporting (but not guaranteeing) players can make even stacks.  From a lore perspective I thought it was really funny that a completely sideways ramen shop is a valid food producer and part of the city's infrastructure, have to imagine being one of the city residents is insane haha.  Very fun!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. We would like to welcome you as a new resident in the tower. ^^
