This was really inventive and fun! Love the idea of moving the walls instead of the character.

Noooooooo! Please tell me I'm just terrible at the game and got the bad ending, this can't be it! TT

Not only is the game super intuitive, the story really locks you in and makes you want to continue.
The only thing I had a bit of trouble with at the beginning was the growing panels with arrows on them, but that's it.

The art style is really good, and the expressions of both the astronaut and the black dark hole are adorable! The music puts a bit of tension in the air, with a very spacey feel.

Excellent job to the team! =D

So good! The art (especially the facial expressions) are cute and funny, and I love the dialogue so much. The game mechanics themselves are great as well, and the first time I realized there was a hidden switch outside the game area that you had to expand to was just 10/10. Love it!

Nice work! I was surprised by how intuitively the puzzle mechanics were introduced through level design. Interesting concept too. Had fun completing the puzzles :)

Great game! This is a clever puzzle mechanic, it was really surprising and innovative. Good job!

Great humor! xD I had so much sympathy for the black, I mean *dark* hole. I was a bit sad about the ending tho. :') The space and stars in the background look awesome. The puzzles were not too hard, but quite fun.

I usually don't finish puzzle games, but I did finish this one. There were so many fun puzzle elements, and no instructions were needed for any of them. The art style, music, and story are really good too. There was 1 level, the one that introduces the conveyor belts, that played itself, and I didn't need to move anything to win.

Developer

Yeah, the conveyor belt one was on purpose!  I it was to make the player feel like the Dark Hole character felt. That's the first time the girl moved and you had no control over her movement, you could only wait and hoped she survived on her own. Thank you for playing it all the way!

Well executed and creative concept! The controls and interactions were very intuitive.

The level design here really shines, the puzzles are very impressive for a game jam. Really well done!

I feel if the walls moved with the mouse, instead of at a fixed rate, the game would feel so much crisper, but otherwise really good stuff!

Developer

Yeah, I found that if you moved you mouse too fast, there is a potential for clipping but I agree with you and I'll definitely make the walls respond faster after the jam! Thank you for the feed back!

Their interactions really helped with keeping me hooked to the game! Mechanics were really interesting too

(That was a pretty dark ending too, if I got that correctly)

Fun game and interesting take on the theme. Had a great time solving the puzzles.

Loved the take to move the walls. Took me a bit to figure out that it was the _walls_ that cover the controls and not the character. After I did that, it started to click pretty fast. Cute little story :)

Cool game! Like the pixel art and the chill vibes. I wish the wall scaling was a tad more responsive - sometimes I really felt like they were dragging slowly, and that makes some of the antigrav puzzles tougher than I think was intended.

Developer

Yeah, the windows version is way more responsive than the browser but its still something I have to look out for, thank you!

Wonderful entry. Would also have totally fit last year's theme, with the player controlling the level, but clearly based on this years theme.

The story and ambiance was cute, but not distracting. All the different mechanics interacted in interesting ways, and were reasonably intuitive.

I was initially confused by how things worked. I figured it out a bit, but I think one more, even simpler level where the only thing to do was move the wall or floor could have introduced things smoother.

Very polished, overall, highly enjoyed.

Developer

Thank you so much! We'd love to update it after the jam and do a better job of introducing the game mechanics, we've seen that quite a few people struggled to understand how to play. Thank you for taking the time to play:)

This is simply great! a maincharacter and a controllable system, breaking the very tradition

Can’t help but absolutely enjoy this charming game. So much thought and effort was put into this game and it shows!

Music and art style were good! The character dialogue was a nice touch. Good puzzle game!

Cool game, interesting concept. I liked the black hole character :D Also the background vocals in the music in combination with the stars give the game an almost psychedelic vibe. Well done!

Developer

Thank you!

Really well made. If you extend the idea, this could become an excellent puzzle game. I enjoyed it allot!

I like this interpretation of the theme and the puzzles, but I think for a game jam game I could do without the dialogue and story. I really just wanted to see the puzzles and the mechanics, but that is definitely just my preference! Really well done overall.
