Simple but fun game. Game was well ballanced, but only when picking the right upgrades. My first run ended in first wave, because I picked +1 bullet and not beaing to kill default enemies on one hit was really hard. But I think that solving which upgrades are the best is the point of the game.

Art and audio were also well made, good job.

Game was fun and funny at the same time. The horror atmosphere was nice, it was definitely scary. And at the same time having monster your project manager was funny and the quotes he said were hilarious.

Only complain was that I got lost quite a bit. Maybe something like transparency of arrow based on distance to player would solve that. Or if it was deliberately to make player lost, it achieved that.

Stylized artstyle was also really good.

Good job.

Small but nice game.

Fits with the theme really well.

Also it looks gorgeous and the writing is also good.

This game was incredible. I wouldn’t finish it without the walkthrough.

Spoilers

I got stuck right at the beginning, then I didn’t switch lights on, then it was really hard to find forest and then I didn’t realize I should jump to shed.

I think making the terrain or interior more distinctive would solve a lot of problems.

But besides all of that, the game is so clever, the puzzles are eye opening, story really good and the whole mechanic is so unique.

I think that this is my favorite game from this game jam (I’ve played so far).

Good job.

Edit:

Also good voice acting.

Really cool game. Graphics looks so good, music is fitting, everything is well polished.

Building system works great and defences make you think strategically.

Is there win a state, or you could only loose? Because I got to the point of having sustainable town, nothing could destroy it and it make more money I could possibly spend.

Overall good game.

The game looks incredible. And the medieval music is also really good. Minigames were nice and started easy, so one can learn them. But they allways ended too hard (at least for me).

Very unique game, nice switch from classical heroes like knights, wizards or soldiers to bugs. Good job.

Nice cosy game with cute and unusual art style. The theme is also really unique and I like it a lot. Good job.

Game had incredible atmosphere and I think it fitted the theme really well. Timer wasn't really adding anything to the game. If the timer was something in the game, like fog, storm, darkness it would make sence.

Yeah, some better tutorial would be nice.

Every base has information how wind blows there. If you add base to simulation, it's wind information influences the storm. So when you add different bases to simulation, path of storm would be different each time, because different winds from different bases influence it.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely didn't see that while playing, but when you mention it, for person who doesn't know there is something in the left it feels like there is invisible wall. Especially when invisible wall like this is in right side.

Nice small game. Art and animations are cute, dialogs are compelling, game is overall quite polished. I think with more content it could get some good results.

Got score 87. Nice but simple game. The artstyle makes it stand out. It doesn't need to be more complicated, just chill game with cute artstyle. Good job.

The leaderboard really adds to the game so much depth. Without it it would just be basic fighting game. But trying to beat the others is really motivating.

Good job,

c.

Making my army and then sending it to battle was really fun. My only issues are with game economy, chests are too weak and if you have enought money even mines provide no value. Some level up system could maybe work, or buying more space. But it's just game jam entry not full game.

Otherwise compelling game. Good job.

Oh, I didn't. Sorry, my bad.

Nice game. It reminds me a lot of escape rooms, and because I love escape rooms I liked your game as well.

Also the graphics are incredible. But the bloom makes it really hard to see anything close. Also the white text is unreadable when the bloom is there.

Game looks incredible and has unique job. Maybe add how to play the game to game's page as well, because I forgot half the rules I read before I even started to play. Fortunatelly there was the video so I could reread it again.

Game was fun. Got some laughs from it. Good job.

The 3D perspective maked it really hard to do platforming. But 3D platformers are super hard to make, so don't worry. Even developers of Celeste made not so good 3D platformer (https://maddymakesgamesinc.itch.io/celeste64) with same issues as this game.

It took me some time to know there is double jump, maybe mention it in game's page.

But the game had nice atmosphere and cute graphics.

Highes score 42. I liked the powerup system. It's risk and reward thing that incentivates players to sisk less at the beginning and less in the end. I would make the clowd harder in different way, not just making time when he's invincible longer (maky having more health or something), waiting for time to run off was not that fun in the game.

But nice game overall.

This game has the best soundtrack of all the games from all the game jams I've played so far. And only a few commercial games have better music. Really, congrats on that. I can see myself listening to it when I work or want to focus on something. My favourite was the first one, it had nice mix between calm and dark.

The atmosphere is incredible as well. Movement feels fluid and the artstyle nicely fits with the music.

My only complaint is about the last level. There are no checkpoint, or at least they are really far from each other so I wan't able to reach some. It's such a shame because the rest of the game is amazing, sometimes quite hard, but saves on earlier levels saves the day.

Also jumping on that jellyfish were sometimes clunky, because colliders didn't really fit with the sprite.

But rest of the game is super cool and I had a lot of fun playing it.

Good job.

Really nice game. Love storytelling and the theme of the game.

I got confused at first puzzle (thought 2431 is right answer) and last puzzle (I wrote the name with persons title, so maybe I would also count this solution as valid one). But the other puzzles were great.

Artstyle looks nice as well. Good job.

Game is well ballanced. I won the game just by a little so it was thrilling to last second. Game also fits the theme really well, maybe it fits the most from all the games I've played.

It was also fun to come up with the best strategy to complete all the tasks.

I think all that this game needs now is some polish and it will be really good game.

This game was really fun. I think it's best game from this jam I've played so far.

So to even say something bad about the game I is really hard. I think the game functions as is. But I think for example if fuel would be constantly consumed (but only by a little) even when fishing it will add some more depth to the gameplay. There would be choice not to fish as specific point also fishing would require more skill because the faster you catch fish the better.

Only confusing thing about the game is needing to pick up the fish you caught. I get that if you have almost full inventory you don't want to pick up every fish, but it took me some time to realise I wasn't picking my fish. Maybe having option to drop items from inventory would be more clear.

But these are just minor points that would made the game even better and the game already good is.

Edit:

Really loved the economy in this game.

No, I always say, if something in the game is confusing it's developer's fault, not player's.

It's kind of not  a bug but maybe a wrong design decision. You set time on alarm clock. So if you set 7am and it's already 7:20 it will wake you up next day and you will sleep 23 hours.

Maybe some way to limit sleep past 12 hours or have time spend sleeping would help.

But I'm glad you pointed this up.

Now I see it, thanks.

Got past that text.

And how to put skill point into the 'Enchant skill'. You mean in the skill tree or somewhere else,

(1 edit)

Game looks awesome. Somehow I couldn't get past the enchanted shield even when reading instructions. If I understand it I should equip fire (to beat leaf shield) and then press E and Q. But the game is still stuck at the tutorial text to it. (I know I'm dumb and there is for sure some easy solution I'm missing)

Other than that nice pokemon style game. I will use my imagination to imagine how the game would look it the right background was used because bugs like this happen and they happened even to me.

Game missed enemy hit effects, somethimes I didn't knew if I an enemy or not and it felt unresponsive.

Game otherwise polished and once you got some upgrades fun to play.

The cat was in the way!!!

Love score system, this way you could have as much challange as you like.

Art was lovely and it aws chill game overall. Good job.

Game looks cute. Some text showing controls in game would be good so I don't have to stop the game to look it up, but thats only a minor critique.

Win with score 46.

Game had nice calm atmosphere. I didn't get what affects when branch falls or not, I just build one large one and still won. But great game overall.

Love the cutscene. incredible animations in there.

Didn't know how to grow plants though. I pressed E to plant seeds, then I pressed more time E and it grow bigger and bigger to a point when it disapeared. I tried cuttong it but that didn't work either. Did I miss something?

Also some UI was not visible (the top one) so maybe it said something about it.

Game look incredible. Also the music is charming.

Game has nice chill amosphepe and simple but effective game loop.

Good job.

Tried it run on Firefox but get this error: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS/Errors/CORSDidNotSucceed?..., also tried it on Chrome and it didn't work either.

Also on Edge it doesn't work.

Edit:

Tried it second time on Chrome and it magicaly worked. Game looks awesome and love recoil of the gun. I would maybe give enemies less health or make some effect when hitting them. First I didn't even knew if I hit them or not, because it took too long to kill them and no visualization of hits was shown.

Simple but nice game.
