Really cool concept. Modifying the clothes.

Had a problem loading the clothes into the machine.

If I could've figured out how to get it into the machine, I would have played this for a while now.

Thank you for trying my game. Glad you liked the concept. The thing  is that the close doesn't go into machine at the moment :(  You may just leave those in front of it and proceed to the control panel. I added the comment to the game rules on the page. I hope you will return to check out updated post jam version with expanded and fixed features and let me know what you think. And please consider following for the updates.

I love the idea of sizing clothing with a washing machine xD

The only thing I missed was a few more customer variations, maybe even randomly generate ones. Maybe I was just unlucky, but it seemed to me as if the customers were just repeating in a circle.

Thank you very much for playing game. I'm glad the the core concept appeal to you.  I'm planning add more variations and randomisation in future updates. As well as some other interesting features based on feedback from the players. Please consider following and I hope you will return to check it out post jam.

It's a simple game, but I actually really enjoyed it! Yeah there was hitbox jankiness at first picking up the clothes... but I eventually figured out the right spot to stand to get it, so it didn't hinder the experience really for me. Also don't think I didn't notice that little cringer who brought me underwear that was already the right size (I failed his order like 3 times before realizing...). It was a unique concept with a gameplay loop that scratches a nice itch once you get into it! I actually felt a bit sad when my business suddenly ended and I was forced to take a vacation...

At first I found it frustrating not having any relative scale for determining what size something was other than guestimating. A few orders in, I realized that the size actually matches the model of the customer quite well, and could be used to set the scale in my head. Not sure if that was intentional, but it was clever, and I liked it!

I think the game actually has a lot of potential for future features, challenges, and all sorts. It's a good baseline that I really enjoyed playing!

Thank you very much for playing and the detailed feed back. It will help immensely to improve the game. The sizing of the customers was indeed intentional :) Glad that it shows. Additionally It was suppose to show in the top left corner what size the player holding, but it got broken in the final build, I'm already on fixing it.

I'm really glad to hear that in the end it was so good that you didn't want to go on vacation :) I intend to continue development so please consider following and stay tuned for an update with fixed and new features in the future.

Took me a few failed attempts to realize that there was a guide for how to change sizes in the background.  Once I realized this, I started to get the hang of it.  Though I usually had to guess what the current size of the clothing was.

Neat idea.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! Glad you liked overall idea. The guide is a bit obscure on purpose and it's good to hear that it is foundable but not right away as intended :) The current size was supposed to be show in the UI. I'm already fixing it. I'm planning to continue developing this concept so please consider returning for the post jam version.

I couldn't figure out how to play, not sure if I may hit a bug? I would pick up the shirt, put it in front of the machine, change the settings to the associated size the customer was saying, and hit E. After the green bar filled I would try to pick the shirt up but nothing would happen. Then I restarted and every time I picked up customer clothes It made a groaning sound and I lost money.

I like the art style though, simple and clean with great consistency.

Thank you for playing my game. It's a shame that you encountered those obstacles. No bugs. That's my mistake on colliders. As they are setup right now the proper way to pick up the clothes would be standing and facing those from the side. So when you are picking those standing on them they got transported further in front of the player and immediately check with the customer ( I'm already fixing it for post jam version. And thank you complimenting the game style. Glad that it wasn't all bad with your experience :)  I hope you will check the game again when it all fixed.

Really like the style! It did take me a good amount of time to learn how to play the game, but it do be a a fun mechanic!

Developer

Thank you very much for taking the time! I'm really glad that you liked it in the end. I now see how I could translate the rules more clearly and intend to improve it the next iteration :)
