The idea is rly rly good. I love concept of exploring the dungeon that changes as you interact with it. A bit of more explenation on which tile you are exacly would help (tho maybe I missed something). Well done :))

Thanks for checking out the game!! We meant to include some indication for where the starting room is (we tried implementing it but we ran out of time).

In case you ever wanted to give it another go: your starting room is actually above the top left tile of the grid. There is also a second room outside the grid as well to the right of the bottom right tile.

Thanks again for the kind words! :)

Quite impressed by the game, the graphics are very appealing and simple, and the puzzles got me intrigued for quite a while (honestly only had to stop earlier for time's sake). Some parts could've used some better hints and a couple bugs caused some confusion but it was a very enjoyable experience to slowly piece things out.

While I do think the theme could have been utilized better, it still merits praise for being a very enjoyable game and having some nicely designed puzzles.

Glad you enjoyed a good chunk of it! It's always really cool to see people play our game blind, especially since it's our first puzzle game.

Nice visuals and style, I think the pixellation was a little extreme as it made the text hard to read. I think the core concept of the game is fun, but I'm either very dumb or it's very hard - I tried what felt like basically every configuration to get to the portal, but the spikes at the top door of the 4-way intersection make it seemingly impossible

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! I think we definitely could have added some more indicators or hints to certain things; the spikes are actually icicles that should melt away when approached after you collect the torch.

The game feels incredibly good and has no business being this fun to play. I really hope you get more ratings

Phenomenal game, not quite as much theme adherence as I'd probably like to see, but very well executed. I think I needed a tiny bit more hand-holding than the game provides but I was able to beat it so maybe the difficulty is just right.
