The game looks as wacky as the title promises. Hope you get to fix that bug. Good effort.

The game's title is intriguing and sets a humorous tone. The pixel art style is visually appealing, although the resolution across different sprites could be refined to enhance the overall aesthetic. The core mechanic of navigating through the puzzle-like environment appears straightforward. However, the lack of clear controls and in-game instructions makes it challenging to progress. I got stuck in third room :(

Providing on-screen controls or a dedicated tutorial would help players understand how to interact with the game world and ensuring that the puzzles are challenging but fair would prevent noobs like me from getting stuck too early.

The pyramid is supposed to shoot projectiles at the player, but a last minute update added some colliders that prevent that from happening.  Unfortunately, those projectiles are used to solve this puzzle to enter the boss room, so this is the furthest anyone will be able to progress in this build.  Thank you for the feedback and thanks for playing!

cute world and art direction! Was a little confused with controls and such but I love the universe!

This game has some amazing music and visuals,  it's just a little unwieldy with the bugs and the lack of disclosure of controls (or maybe there are no special ones and I'm just dumb, idk). Overall really well styled though.

Thank you for playing! We plan on pushing a more polished version when voting ends.  The only known bug is colliders blocking the pyramid projectiles at the end.  Please let us know if you find any more.

I'm going to have to agree with the other commenter, the art is super good and creative, the game is pretty buggy, especially with the tile collision. I didn't end up getting too far but I think this game has a really cool idea and concept, just needs some more work in the code department. Good job on the submission, hope you keep making games!

I wanted to like this based on the art style, but the game was too obtuse to figure out, the enemy placement right off the bat was very sadistic and it was hard to figure out the logic of what you are supposed to do. Also should note that the file you had that isn't the "GMTK Jam game_Data" seems to be a different build where there doesn't seem to be a way to progress. Overall I liked the way this looked and wish I could have gotten further.

Developer

Sadistic is probably the perfect descriptor.  Thanks for playing! Unfortunately, an update was pushed right at the end of submissions that introduced a game breaking bug.  Players will be unable to progress to the last boss because of this.
