Interesting game! This is a great idea for your first game and the movement controls were interesting.
Interesting gameplay for sure, took a minute or two to grasp how to control things (because I’m impatient and skipped all the instructions…), but after that it was still interesting as you try to master the controls.
The music was nice too although the graphics were maybe a bit simple.
I found the game very hard to control for my limited "gamer faculties" and couldn't get past the first few platforms.
However, I like that you took the time to create a fun intro! Congratulations :)
Neat little idea! Took me a while to get used to the controls but was fun once I did. It felt like alternating between a slingshot and a grappling hook. It would be nice I think if the camera zoomed out when you were up high or moving fast since it could be hard to know where the floor is. But I think this could be a fun little game with more polish!

Cute game brody. I think of course this game needs alot of polish / bugfixing. But I found it very engaging. Of course "shoot to move" is a bit of a trope for game jams but, like, it's popular for a reason surely
Fun lil' game. Did not get really far though. One thing is that when you die your velocity dosen't reset making you die over and over again,

I like the fact that there's a story, gives a lot of personality to the whole thing. I never got very far though, since you can't really see where you have to land before it's too late.
Yeah, if I were to continue I think a bigger screen, or predicted path arrows would help a lot
