How does your game fit the theme?
You play as little robots fixing a bigger robot, scaling up in size each level. The theme is loosely based around scale, so just smaller robots repairing a larger robot. Each level 'zooming out' is meant to represent you moving onto a larger part of the final robot, till you finally see the finished robot powered up at the end. Was also meant to 'scale' in puzzle difficulty with levels, but we ran out of time so basically stopped where the real levels -started-

VERDICTπŸ“

Very cute game, very tight, very polished. Loved the incremental tutorial, but unfortunately there wasn’t really a climax, just ended with introductions. As much as I loved the animated title screen, I would have preferred some more puzzles. Only real critique besides the length is the lack of relevance to the theme. Looking at it, I have no way of knowing that it was made specifically for this competition.

Would love to see it developed further!

Cool game! Loved the fact that the player looks like Eve from Wall-E, super cute. Puzzles were pretty good, good job overall!

The little robots were cute! The puzzles were fun, would love to see more!

I mean, the puzzles are nice, but the only reason this fits the theme is because of the level transition, is it really considered following the theme?

I was thinking the same thing

Very cute and relaxing game! I like your Walle inspired protagonist! Puzzles, art and sound is nice! Well done!

I had a little bug on the green box level, the block fell into the floor and could not be moved.

Nice puzzle game! The green block mechanic was really interesting, I would have gladly played more levels!

During each transition, it would have been cool to see the camera pull out from the head of the next robot, like you did in the final cutscene, to reinforce the theme of the jam.

Hey! This game was so cute! I thought it was a remarkably good and complete for a game jam. The robot was cute, the music was nice, and the push-puzzles were pretty solid. I liked the retracting block, that made for some clever puzzles. I could see a future of more complex puzzles/interactions if the game were built out further. You had a good, core set of levels that really illustrated the idea of the game.

My only note is that I didn't really feel the theme. I see it in the description, but it felt like an aside.

But hey, my only note has nothing to do with the gameplay! The game was super fun, and very impressive given the time! Way to go!

It's a really well-done twist on Sokoban mechanics! We implemented a version of this in our game as well. I also appreciate how you paced the levels/tutorial. The art and polish were on point, too. Great submission for the jam!

The robot is so cute. Nice puzzle design too. Had fun playing it!

Super chill, and really promising start to this puzzle game, especially once the green block was introduced. I've worked on a few things before where things move when you move, and solving the issue of two competing objects trying to move to the same spot is always a bit tricky, sometimes leads to recursive loops. But I think that was needed here, I kept ending up inside the green cube.

The character is super charming, very reminiscent of EVE from Wall-E. The animations give it a lot of personality, and even though the time constraint was tight,  you still managed to add a final little scene which I think was really nice.

Really relaxing, I had fun playing your game!

Really fun game! I liked the art as well. The game doesn't really have anything to do with the theme of the jam, but otherwise it was a good game :D
