Very good art style! Great job

This is a pretty good game. I like it, but I found, as some others did, that the lack of UI made the game a bit harder to understand, but as a whole, it was pretty fun.

Developer

Glad you liked the game. UI will be added to the game in a later update.

Needs polishing, but interesting movement

Thanks for the feedback!

Really solid submission! Biggest pointer I can give is to give the player more feedback. As in, how does luck affect the game, how hard do you hit enemies, what is the cooldown on your abilities. Just a bit of that can make the game even more enjoyable to play!

Developer

Thanks very much, will add UI to show this in a future update

It's hard to tell how the dice/random affected the game but I could tell that sometimes the skeletons died faster. I enjoyed shooting the laser the most.
I thought it was interesting as a top down shooter.
For example your use of 3d models and lighting. The player model also stood out compared and was easy to read as a mage. Your skeletons had a pole and actually looked menacing when they got close enough.

I like the cover art. But I think it crashed somehow when a skeleton came to close to me. Also I missed the dice/randomness part.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :) We enterpreted the theme as randomness. Our rooms & player/weapon stats were completely randomised.

It would help if you could tell how much charge your laser had. The AI for the enemies was pretty enjoyable because you couldn't kite around them! Lining them up and blasting them with your laser was the best part of this game.

Thanks for the feedback, glad that was fun! We ran out of time to add multiple features, including UI
