Interesting idea! I enjoyed the humor. It was fun to see which stock you'd buy and wait for the price to hit a good time to buy it.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Ahh making a decision with  gamble to more of a gamble

Developer

Yup, that sums it up pretty well :D

I really like the concept, but it's lacking a bit of feedback I would say.
Maybe adding some music, curbs and FX when you buy/sell would make it feel more like a casino and makes it more enjoyable ^^

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. The game indeed needs some polishing, but sadly I didn’t really have time for it.

Great idea but execution leaves a lot to be desired. I think more player feedback is needed to actually understand whats going on in each round.  Its still quite fun for me to mess around with even if its impossible for me to know what to do.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. I didn’t really have time to make the game better but I agree that there are parts of the game which could really use some polishing.

I wrote a descripition on the game’s page about how to play, maybe that could help.

We live in a society

This had delightful writing, and has a universal paperclips vibe that if it was a little less random could make it a full game

Turns out you can lose enough money to go into the green'

Interesting idea, but I couldn't really figure out what I was supposed to be doing

The random selling got me haha

That's a fun game, pretty different from other idle games. The story is pretty funny too xD

Fun intro and story (ignoring the typos) with a cool concept / implementation, just not a massive amount of gameplay.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. I know there could be more gameplay but I didn't have much time left for it.

Hey ! I tried to play it but couldn’t understand how you were supposed to buy/sell

Developer

I updated the game's page with more information about this, but you can also read it below:

In the game you basically buy and trade stock randomly.

Buying

When you want to buy stock you get 3 different dice (could be 4 to 11 sided) which you grab and place on the three given places:

  1. the first one determines which stock you will buy from the 11 in front of you
  2. the second one determines the amount
  3. the third one is a multiplier for the amount.

For example if you get a 7 sided, 4 sided and 11 sided die and place them in this order, that means that based on the die rolls you could buy minimum 1 and maximum 44 stock from the first or the second... or the seventh option.

Selling

Selling is pretty simple. You can sell stock randomly from your collection by clicking on the button. This goes on until you run out of stock (then you can buy again) or you just simply don't want to sell more.

Goal

You can watch as the prices change and try to buy / sell accordingly to maximise your profit and earn a higher spot on the leaderboard.

The graphics are nice and the game design is fun. I appreciate the online leaderboards also! Great job! Maybe could use some sound.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you appreaciate the online leaderboard :D I agree, some sound would be nice but I didn't have much time in the end.

Points for creativity! Although there's very little decision making, as the game itself points out.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I know it's a bit one-sided game. I was thinking about other ways of decision-making but couldn't really think of something that would...

  • involve less randomness
  • fit the story
  • take little time to implement .

I love the overall idea, but the game didn't load for me :(

Developer

I'm sorry to hear that :( What device were you using? Did the Unity logo show up but the loading bar didn't reach the end?

As a casual crypto investor for few month, if this game is real life, I would have became millionaire at this point. I probably won't invest further knowing it is going to go down. But the game is very fun and simple. The dice concept is great, the story setup in the beginning is compelling. The stock are creative but it would be better to tell (Stock Index, buy count, buy multiplier) since most people might not know what it is. Anyway, awesome game, keep up the great work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreaciate it and I'm glad you liked it :) I updated the game's page with some info about buying / selling stocks.
