How does your game fit the theme?
The game interprets "Roll of the Dice" as an idiom meaning a risky attempt at something (with the abundance of foods to cut, along with the randomised seasonings to apply at the cost of time), as well as using the pun of 'dice' being used as a verb instead of the noun (meaning to cut food into small pieces)

This game looks amazing! Once you figure out how to cut well it becomes really fun!
Love the art and had a lot of fun playing this! Great work!
Cool concept, I really appreicate the creative take on dice. Nice change of pace, only critiques are it can get difficult because you have to be very accurate and the colours blend together easily, and the music might get obnoxious after a while so possibly toning it down a bit. Nice game! Great presentation.
Ambiance is there, idiomatic interpretation of the theme is clever! Wish there was more things to do after a while. Great submission!
Amazing art on this submission! Really liked the style and theme of this game and would absolutely play a post jam version!
Main issue was that while there was a feeling of being rushed, the gameplay didn't reflect that much as the timer was too generous. In the end I just closed the game and didn't bother about the high score as I wasn't being challenged enough to keep me engaged. Maybe adding a harsher penalty for not cutting things in time or something like that.
But nevertheless it was a really cool submission with some decent potential.
I didn't understand at first that you had to carefully drag your mouse over the red lines to cut them, but figured out eventually. The red lines blend in to a lot of the fruit, so maybe you should use another color like white? I love the horror-ish artstyle and presentation though!
Red was the optimum color. Other colours blended in more. We should've used a sprite to denote it better probably
I love the clever use of the theme! I also thought your art style was so interesting, to have this pseudo-horror cooking game was so original! I definitely had some trouble with the slicing, maybe it required me to be a bit too precise and I wasn't very good haha And I wasn't sure if the seasoning was working. But it was a fun, hectic and spooky experience. Great job!

Really creative idea on the theme. I wish could see more twists in the game.
The art style was definitely the best part of this entry. The sliding of diced fruits felt slow and the cutting often felt unresponsive. As for the theme explanation, I'm not sure the scale of the risks were large enough to adhere to the theme.
It took me awhile to realize that I'm supposed to cut along the red lines, but it was a nice gameloop once I realized that. Killer artstyle and music! I think it's a little bit of a stretch to match the theme though
Well there is the other way that we are following the theme , that is when the player uses seasoning .. They get extra points with the risk taking of decreasing the time remaining.
Super cool aesthetic! I couldn't figure out how to play but I enjoyed the vibe.
Amazing art and the music matches the vibe of the game, its hard to understand what to do at first but after you get used to the controls its fun.
Reminds me of fruit ninja, creative way to interpret the prompt!
It was an interesting concept and I really liked the art that sets the mood quite well.
It was hard for me to understand what to do in the beginning though until I found those red cutting lines on each ingredient. Maybe the lines could have been blinking or something.
It was fun though!
Appreciate the left-field take on the theme, nice to play a game without dice for once.
Visuals are great, other than the red lines being hard to see on some of the sprites.
Sound design is spot on. The mechanics themselves work well for a casual arcade game, but because the cutting can be a little fiddly at times it clashes with a time-limit gameplay. Maybe it could be more about rewarding precision cutting than about doing it fast? Great job!

I like how just a normal organic produce you see so much in everyday life, not some crazy surreal object you see where games need something that sticks out from the normal things, is much harder to deal with than even out-of-place ingredients. Because it's red. Tomatoes.
Awesome work on the visuals! I like the interpretation on the theme, too.
As a feedback, cutting the ingredients feels a little difficult to pull off.
Yes. We felt the same too. I would have to patch it up after the jam. Thanks for your feedback :)
