The Concept of this Game was Mind Blowing  and at the same time it so addictive .

Really cool concept love games that involve using music

What a fun and creative concept! Have never seen anything like this before, good entry!

I wonder what else you could do with this? More instruments? Specific rhythms? (Swing for example) I feel like this game's potential is limitless, please continue developing!

Developer

Thanks so much!

I have a lot of ideas for future directions, but I don't want to get married to any of them too soon. All the feedback I'm getting from the players has been incredible so I'll definitely take that into account.

Really unique concept executed really well! The sounds were a little sharp, but I know I'm sensitive to that sort of thing so it could just be me. Gets challenging pretty quick, but it's probably easier if you have an ear for music! Nonetheless, top tier work!

Thanks so much for the feedback! The samples I used were generated using SFXR so they definitely more on the abrasive side haha. I'll definitely spend more time synthesizing samples in a future release and I'll also probably include multiple different sounds for different beats.

Optional scroll wheel input would be cool. Also, good music.

Developer

Thanks for playing! What do you mean by this? As in scroll wheel for scrolling through the tracks? I think that's a great idea

I actually meant the dice so you don't need to klick a hundred times per song but I don't see a reason to not do what you said too.

sick beat! I wish we could share and save music

Developer

Glad you enjoyed playing around in freestyle mode :). Future versions will definitely include an export option, sorry I wasn't able to include that in the jam version

This game is really unique and fun to play! Although I am absolutley terrible at it! The concept is really good!

Developer

I appreciate the comment. Keep playing and you'll get better eventually hehe ;)

Wow! I love how it's music based. Really unique. Great job!

Yes, We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

The Player creates the vast majority of the music ... in the game :-D

It's crazy, how my head sometimes messes with me, when you hear the instructors track and fills in beats, that aren't there. It's fun to play with the beats, selecting the dice faces could be a bit easier though. The left/right buttons cause a lot of work, when editing the beat.

Really creative and fun idea.

Developer

Hahahaha fair, there wasn't an option to say I was recruiting my audience to make the game for me ;)

Thanks for the comment!

You don’t see many music centric games, well done!

Developer

I appreciate it!

this was fun!! i wound up unable to finish it (i got to puzzle 5) b/c the constant sound gave me a headache, so I really would have appreciated a way to pause/reset the track as it plays. but the aesthetic was cool and so were the sound effects! it was a really fun and challenging series of puzzles!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately due to the multi-threaded implementation of the main tracks, pausing and playing with accuracy is kinda difficult. Muting the tracks is the closest alternative or pressing the instructor and muting their track. But I definitely understand the concern and in future builds I'd figure it out :)

Very fun and unique! A full DAW like this would be cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I think I'll continue developing this into something more full :)

Really unique take on the theme! I didn't expect to see a working DAW in the jam, but I am pleasantly surprised.

Can't stop bobbing my head the whole time! Super unique and creative, yet remains simple enough for me to pick up the mechanics in just seconds. Awesome work!

Wow! This is a really addicting and very creative game!

I spent 20 minutes going through the first 4 levels and didn't even notice it. If this game was paid, I would be ready to buy it :)

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it :)
