Cool take on the theme. I like the concept but the game is a little too difficult. I think what might be interesting is instead of avoiding ghosts with the cursor, is to maybe have something else that you can drag around that represents your lifeforce and try making sure ghosts don't hit that! That way you can more freely chuck the dice around. Great entry and good luck!

Really unique concept, and executed pretty well! It's really difficult to aim the dice at specific ghosts without also hitting them with the mouse, but that feels like part of the challenge haha
It’s quite difficult to flick dice and not got the mouse cursor hit!! I liked that when rolling doubles, all the enemies got it, little touches like that. Solid entry!
As far as i can tell, i have not played anything else like this in the jam. So great work on making something unique.
Now I will start with presentation, the games visuals are simple and clear, the ghosts all have good color choices that make them stand out, and better yet there is a behavioral difference between different sizes and colors of ghosts. Having ghosts with different behavior look noticeably different is very good and makes the situations easy to read, so really good work on that. In regards to the sounds they were all there even the sounds for throwing the dice, dice landing, ghosts getting hit, standard ghost noises etc. Better yet none of the sounds overpowered each other or the music. Speaking of music, it fit the game well, and i liked it. All in all from a presentation stand point good work.
Now for the gameplay/game mechanics: The idea of actually using the mouse to throw the dice was clever, the idea to make the mouse the vulnerable player, even better. I liked this idea and it forced me to really control how much i swung my mouse around. Admittedly, I often threw my mouse into ghosts with the die haha. Overall i like the mechanic and i think it felt punchy and good to throw the dice this way in part because of the good sound design but also because it was momentum based. My one bit of feedback, is you may want to lock the player mouse or some representation of it within the parameters of the game. There is an exploit where the player can hide the mouse outside the window of the game and lure the ghosts away from the dice so that the player can than quickly return.
All in all, this was a fun game, and I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it.
Fun game! Very statisfying to play. Cocept is very creative and the presentation is fine for a 48 hour jam. Sadly the score would not reset to 0 after a game, which makes the highscore completely unrelyable.
Loved the combo mechanic and the feeling you would get when chaining 8x ghosts while hiding your mouse out of pure deperatiom, while still needing to fling it everywhere! Great pull and push of the mechanics in this game!

The game has a lot of great visual and audio feedback! It felt good to play, too, racking up big combos, though it was hard to throw the dice far because the ghosts would hit the cursor.
The gameplay is very satisfying, and that well to the right of the map makes it super scary to chuck dice far away and have to grab them.
Great idea! First time that I saw the mouse mechanic in game!
My main feedback is to make the dices larges and to add the instructions to the first screen :)
Lovely little game! I the physics of the throwing were surprisingly nice. I enjoyed the idea of ghosts hurting you if they touch the mouse cursor - an idea I don't see too often actually, and makes the act of simply moving the mouse about a nice little fun precision challenge. I do wish the level / dice were a tiny bit larger, but there is something to be said about the small size making the precision all the more important.
Well done!
This is such a unique take on the prompt! The little ghosties are super cute too. There is a sort of chaos about this game that makes it fun to play.
