I appreciate the concept, and it looks like a lot of effort went into this!

Congratulations on finishing the jam!

Love the aesthetic you guys went with!

I like the idea of this game as a sort of microrpg, but I had a lot of difficulty with "brogression" lol: took me 3 tries and ended up using the nerd -> gym bro build + luck to win lol. gambler felt like a trap after i picked it, so did healing.

outside the builds, i wish there was a little bit more strategy because at least from my playsession it seemed kind of pointless to do anything but attack, i tried healing but the enemy would generally roll higher than me so it was pointless.

i like your message at the end haha

Not a bad game. I didn't know I could use other dice until the last boss, so I just kept attacking my way through lol

Really nice classic vibes permeate this piece.

Cute concept. I think it would be great if there were more visual cues/adjusted UI design. The distance between my side of the screen and my enemies side felt too great and my eyes had to dart across the screen. I also think more visual cues for hits and damage would be great too. Neat little game though! Well done!

I like the concept of the game. It was nice to an rpg like this in the jam!

Fun Game. I like the rng aspect.

Okay I know who is the biggest enemy. This game looks so badass.

You could communicate a bit better what is going on during battle. Now its some dice rolls, something blinks and hp goes down. You clearly see that the enemy is slashing You, so how about a slash animation for attack? The swords could just tackle the enemy bar and thats it.

Very nice visuals!

I feel like the dice rolling mechanic is not that much integrated, though.

The intent of the enemy part is really nice though, I love that kind of things since Slay The Spire.

The font is a bit hard to read when you have to pick a dice upgrade.

The music is a bit repetitive too.

But for 48h it's a nice little game you have here :)

I liked it! Maybe with a bit more options, I would have loved it. I love the art too :)

Congrats!

Gorgeous art style, but the gameplay falls a bit flat.

With one option per turn there's really little you can strategize, the defending dice has no purpose other than infinitely stalling the battle.

I've encountered a visual bug that changed my dice icon  after choosing an unrelated power up between battles.

Anyway, overall it's a cute game that might benefit from a little more polishing. Well done.

Cool game!

I like the dice descriptions and the art and everything.

Only thing is the battles are a bit slow.

Overall, really good job!

Good work! Love the story/art/concept. Wish you'd had time to develop a couple more encounters before the boss, but what you have works well!

Pretty art and the concept was well executed, I just feel like the enemies got so many high rolls on me, probably just my bad rng. Good job yall!
