I was surprised how chill the game was, but the sound design and simple gameplay loop was super relaxing, nice job : )
Ooh! What nice, chill vibes! I'm glad you were able to use this jam to motivate yourself and pick up javascript! No better time than a game jam to really get yourself to work! You picked some good music, and the dice rolling sounds made rolling more fun! Really nice work!
Really enjoyed it :) The upgrades really made this game feel complete and got really close to beating level 6, but despite all the upgrades I still got ROLLED by gus.
Congrats on a great job!
Tight tight tight gameplay, beat it on my first try.
The pixel art made me smile a few times, this game tells a story of a thousand words without a single dialogue, very impressive indeed !
I enjoyed your game. It reminds me of one of my favorite Mario Party minigames where you have to time rolling the die to get a toad head to advance! It's simple but quite fun and the upgrade system is a really nice touch.
If you were to continue working on it, I think it would be nice to have the power up descriptions in game like as a tool tip or something (I saw they were below the game but not until the third round lol)
Also I really like the BB vibes lol. Just barely beat Gus haha
Congrats on submitting, and thanks for the game!
I tried adding descriptions, but it just didn't work with the pixel art style, if I had more time I would love to do fix that and also add a list of all upgrades you have equipped.
Very interesting game concept...getting Breaking Bad vibes from this one. Nice job
Thanks!
I wish the upgrades were permanent if the enemies get harder... Otherwise great game:D
I am the luckiest dice roller in the west!
