How does your game fit the theme?
A roll of the dice can be interpreted as anything with odds and probability. The game is heavily focused on chances and future planing. The winning cards have low chances and player with their moves can affect them. Whole game is altered by first roll of the dice when setuping game.

Excellent concept! For a 48-hour jam game, this is really impressive... A real in-game tutorial could have been useful, but I still managed to play. Great work!

Developer

thanks! We are planning on adding a better tutorial soon! :)

Serious amount of complexity for 48 hours, impressive!

Very unique concept that was executed well. Although the -1 card cost seems a bit too powerful. But other than I had a fun time and enjoyed it very much.

Thank you! As mentioned by Denowq (the other dev) under other posts. Balancing is very hard thing to do and we've spent a lot of time balancing the cards, so they make sense. But because of the time pressure, we had to mainly focus on the game's features and balancing had a smaller priority, though we tried our best.

We are looking forward finishing this game up after the Jam, so everything will be more polished! :)

Oh yeah I absolutely understand the time pressure and I understand how hard balancing a game could be in a short amount of time. And I am looking forward to when the game is finished and a bit more polished after the jam as well.

Love the uniqueness

seems to be a very intresting game, although i'll have to admit i didn't take the time to read through everything on the screen and all the different card descriptions - there's a noticeable learning curve. congratulations on the concept, seems very original!

Thank you! It can get overwhelming when you first open the game, especially the tutorial. We've tried our best to make it as straightforward as possible, though the game can get complicated at times, so it was kinda hard to get it right.

Our first step I think will be to make the tutorial way more interactive and less overwhelming. Then we can focus on other stuff and make the game even better.

Really cool idea! Very unique and ends itself to some nice strategizing! Just needs some further balancing but as you've mentioned it takes a lot of time which we didnt have so no worries! Really good job! :D

Very nice concept, the difficulty range is a bit random with the start dice but very enjoyable!

Really enjoyed this! It's a unique concept and definitely worth exploring further after the Jam. I agree with an earlier comment that it would be great to have a small minute-long interactive tutorial instead of the text wall. Overall great concept!

Thanks a lot! We've had something like that planned, but sadly there was not enough time for it, so we had to go with this rather bad way of explaining the game to the player.

Though the first update of this game will definitely contain more user friendly turorial.

I liked the concept a lot! good job :)

I like the idea of this game, however, I think there could be some improvements regarding UX design. For example, tutorial is quite prolonged and could be more interactive.
