I havent seen anything like this through out the jam, so top marks for creativity! The core idea is awesome, but the execution leaves something to be desired. I think that making the process of impacting the dice more enjoyable (like actively controlling a character that tries to bounce it off their head as opposed to placing static objects) would go a long way!

Ok this is really cool. Just the concept of actually using physics to manipulate what you roll is super unique and cool. And it was executed really well. It's nice and easy to understand and I love how each roll gets more and more complicated with more dice and objects to place. Great job.

love the idea

It took me a bit to figure out the 2D 4 sided dice. After that, it was fun. We wondered if there was a possibility to restore health along the way (we did not play far enough to check that out)

my physics degree did not prepare me for this

I enjoyed the game quite a bit, it's a really cool concept, but I found that in certain cases, it was really hard to influence the die. (But then, as soon as I wrote that, I figured out a way I could have influenced the die with only one slanted piece and I feel kinda silly for writing that)

This is such a fun game, though the pixel art is sometimes a little bit... Windows 98 Solitare-like (boring). But the idea is very creative and it was a blast to play.

Very fun and original idea but I wish the system for manipulating the dice was a bit more predictable.

wow! really great idea, just wish you could tell better how the die would be influenced. really great game overall!

Super original idea of manipulating the dice as they are rolled.

Would've loved to have seen a greater sense of progression like unlocking more complicated structures and play-areas as the game progressed - with that I'd see this working really well as a system in a full game.

Awesome job, one of the most creative I've seen!

This is definitely an original and cool idea. I think this has a lot of potential as an alternate control scheme style dungeon crawler, where movement is based through this little level-building mini game.

My main gripe is that it all comes down to rather unpredictable physics. It's really hard to tell how much a certain block will actually influence the falling dice. This is further complicated by the fact that the placement of the pieces is dictated by a grid. I feel like for something that has such dynamic physics involved, it would be nice to place the objects wherever I please.

Extra bonus points for having the dice determine it's roll even if it never makes it to the floor, and especially if it lands almost perfectly diagonally! And extra evil points for making the dice always want to land on a space that will hurt you by default.

Overall, a really cool, interesting, and unique concept, that has a lot of potential I think. Well done :)

Really original idea!
