Ranked from 28 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
The player enjoys various benefits from the dice which comes off of defeated opponents. The player may collect and save up dice, though the original intent for this was to allow players the option of saving them for a potential boss (which I unfortunately did not have time to implement).

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing art

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

It's a nice slasher! But I didn't quite get what a dice actually do. Maybe visualising the effect more clearly (or loudly) would help.

That was cool! I think using the mouse to attack and roll would wave made it easier to play, otherwise you've got a solidly polished game here

Fun game! It did feel a bit hard to hit enemies and probably could've had some sort of snapping system. Besides from that, Good job!

Fun idea, but controls feel a bit off. Nice design, loved it!

Cool game! The wave system was neat. It did feel slightly clunky at times while trying to hit enemies, but I understand that can be difficult to do with 3d games. Good stuff!

Good fun arcade wave system. Easy replay value. Camera could use a little more tween in my opinion. Really loved game feel, but I think controls for computer could have been rigged a little better. I would recommend mouse for movement and top row keys like q, w, e, and r. Or you could try wasd and go with h, j, k, and l.

Thanks for giving the game a go and for the feedback!

Yeah, the controls are what I would look over first if given more time. I feel alright about the gamepad setup, but the keyboard/mouse layout is confusing at best.
The camera was a bit of a struggle. I originally wanted a fully static top-down view, but it wasn't exciting enough so I changed it on a whim late in the project.

Oh well, lessons learned!

Fighting was satisfying!

Nice concept! Fighting felt a little clunky but felt good to play!

Love the combat design here, but fighting felt a bit awkward on mouse, especially with the Space key for punching. I did encounter a bug where the score multiplier would be set to a ridiculously low number out of the blue. Great job otherwise!

Thanks for trying the game!
My last task of the jam was to look over the control scheme again, unfortunately I ran out of time before I was able to! Indeed the current build is best played just using the left hand (or a gamepad).

As for the multiplier, that one caught me by surprise! It should only be a visual bug though, not affecting the actual score.

The idea of collecting dice heads as resources is really cool and I enjoy the action very much. If there is a suggestion I would say the camera is moving too fast and maybe using more mouse keys as inputs. Overall a good game!

Definitely had fun playing this, button smashing is always a good mechanic in my eyes. (my thumbs hurt in a good way)

Impressive on what have been done in the game with the 50 hours limit, especially since its a 3D game.

Congrats on finishing the jam !

I like the idea and the abstract theme, i think player should aim their punches using a mouse
