Love this idea, very creative! Game was overall very fun! Movement controls were a bit wonky and could use some work, as they're essential to access your main mechanic. I also managed to fall out of the map, so a post jam version could add a way to bring you back to the stage incase a player falls out.

This is one of those games in the jam I'd like to come back to if you decide to do a post jam patch. Very well done :)

Developer

thanks for playing and also the idea how to improve! <3
those words are very warming:) idea of people enjoying a game makes me happy :D

Yes, the post-jam patch is almost ready and will be uploaded to live as soon as possible c:

The camera control is sometimes weird, but the game itself is really nice and well done. The die is hard to control, but I think that's the point of the game and it's not a negative thing! I liked it :D

Developer

haha thank you! Camera might took some weirdness from it's author :DD
Thank you for playing!

The old wise dice is so cute!  Well done with this game concept, it fits in so well for this game jam theme and had me entertained for a very long time.  I haven't finished this game yet and want to come back to it to see how the story unfolds.

Using my trackpad has been difficult to work the camera so I will try again later when I have access to a mouse as I think that might help.

Developer

thank you for playing! I really glad you like it c:
I can ping you when I reupload bugless version when voting ends if you are interested C:
Yet there is some bugs with checkpoints that makes game harder (but not impossible)

Yes, feel free to ping me once you’ve had a chance to upload the updates after the voting period  - I’m interested to see it. Since you’ve decided to continue to work on this, Im curious if you’ll be joining Post-Jam, here’s the link if you haven’t seen it yet: https://itch.io/jam/post-jam-jam-5

Glad to hear you found the link helpful.  And yes, I've continued working on most of the games I've submitted to game jams so I was pretty excited when I saw that Post-Jam was a thing too!

Fun concept and really nicely presented. I found the camera a little fiddly but was otherwise great fun!

This game is very good and has a great concept. The only thing I think that can be improved is the skill controls. Good Job!

This game is amazing, great job! The controls can be improved a bit, I sometimes had to roll back and roll forward, even though rolling sideways works just fine. I respawned on the first checkpoint and fell off the map. Also not a big fan of being able to shoot yourself, especially when it takes 1 shot to die. Other than that the game is great, I really can see this being a full game if you polish it up a bit.

Thank you for playing! Yess, I like the way game playing, but some bugs unfortunatly messing experience. I should test it more carefully. It also the first time I building to HTML5 and didn't knew what to expect from it :D Looking forward to polish it after the period of voting. Glad there is no "critical bugs" so far :D

visual style is great! had a tough time getting too far, kept shooting myself while trying to look up at stuff. It's a really clever idea & loved the decals on the wall tutorializing.

Nice little platformer. Has an amazing feel to it. The die looks and feels like a kiddo. Good job!

Woah! Super impressed with the concept, the gameplay is really neat. Together with sound effects and polish, I'm surprised it was all in 48h!
