Very simple yet interesting concept! I thought that the game would be pretty easy, but the levels do get quite tough and fun. Good job!
Would love if you can check out my game too!
Creative take on the theme! Really got to use some brain power on this one. Those boss dialogues were funny too.
Tutorial could be better tho, I just pressed right to complete the tutorial and confused at first boss. Maybe allowing players to try make the sum themselves would be better.
Nice game :)
Cool little game ! nice animation and effects , simple and easy to understand as well, Good stuff all in all :D
This is a really well put together game. Before I started, I was a little overwhelmed by the description but as soon as I was in, the game was incredibly intuitive. I think for the Jam this is really great entry and fits the theme perfectly.
This game has some of the best balance between providing opportunity for the player to be clever and rewarding them for that. Constantly in the game the game I was always trying to think a head a keep track of where the faces were. And over the course of the game building up like a library of patterns such as knowing that 20 was just 6-4-6-4 back and fourth. Even the difficulty was well tuned taking me a couple goes on the final boss. I'd be interested in how you would take this further if were to add more bosses, perhaps a variety of floor tiles.
My only knit pick is in the UI, it's a small thing but keeping track of which bosses I have killed and when I do get a kill on a boss it can sometime be a bit jarring like "oh I did it" because I'm so focused on the left side. Anyway, great work.
Fun!. Too much mathematics!! jajaja. In my first time playing, the enemy numbers confuse me.
Cool! Once you get the hang of it, the combat becomes really fun and satisfying. The movement also feels really good. Well done!
This is a really fun game, with a neat mechanic.
Is there a way to predict which numbers are going to show up on the next turn?
Thanks a lot! The player dice is based on normal real world dice. If the right square hit show the number 5 you know that number 2 wont be available because its on other side of the dice. You can quickly calculate what number you wont have in the next move by doing -> 7 - (number on hint squares). Hope that helped :)
Game works, didn't really understand how to beat the bosses, would be nice to have a reminder when you can select the boss' level, no strats works on level 1. Nice game tho
Thanks for playing! I've added infographic tutorial into the games description to make it clearer now. I agree I should have make the mechanics a lot clearer. Hopefully this will help:

How to do damage?
Get the big white number on board to 0 but moving the dice to get the right sum of numbers on top of it
How did I get hit?
Either you ran out of time, got the wrong sum (you went into the negatives) or you fell out of the map.
I really love this game! It's super satifying! I finished the 3 bosses! Great job!
Really nice game! Sounds were really good, and the mechanics were nice! Loved the bosses teasing you as you go :D
One thing though, it was a little confusing to understand the rules, didn't really manage to understand why sometimes the number on the back reduces and sometimes go up...
still, it was very fun, good job :)
this is really creative. The song in the back is a totallll bop. I might just leave the game open all the time to listen to the song on repeat.
Not too sure if I understand the mechanics. The tutorial was not very helpful because I just went to the right without thinking about it. Then on the boss levels I always just collected the orange things until the boss died. I think the point would be to do some math with numbers? Maybe reducing the spawn rate of the orange healing thingies would force the player into actually playing by the rules rather than going for infinite health :)
