I really enjoyed this. Simple concept that's fun especially with the timer pressure coming in. As others have said switching out the odd/even for something you have to think about would be good to add some extra skill in. I could you see you doing time-boxed segments so you get the rush of the timer coming in before it relaxes a bit. Or even.. multiple dice. Can tell it's a great concept because it gets me thinking. Well done

I’m always in awe of people who deliver a complete game by themselves 😯

Simple and fun concept! I can see this as a party game, with wagers between people and everything.

Nicely made, the effects are quite good and I like how there both a strategic and a luck aspect.

A very short and cute game! There is a certain strategy to it where you find the higher/lower value, however the other ones are pretty much 50-50. Would have loved more logical questions where the words are twisted so that it takes time for the player to understand the actual question for example, that might add to the fun, rather than 50-50 more than half the time xD

Developer

Yeah, at first I added those 50/50 questions to keep some RNG in the game and keep the multiplier at a relatively low amount, but I realised there were way too many of those questions after I published the game :(

Once I can update the game, I am definitely removing those and making the game more skill-based. Thanks for trying!

Nice game! very well made

Great minigame, I just think that the 50/50 questions take a little bit of the fun in the game.

Great concept and execution! Would be perfect as a minigame in a much bigger title, like an activity in a Skyrim tavern.

Simple concept yet incredibly executed! The graphics were amazing and I had a lot of fun :)

Simple yet very well executed and Fun! might be a good mobile idle-like game, good job! ^^

A fun, simple concept with really good execution. I got a score of 8100 after getting more than 10 correct predictions in a row during the last few seconds. The game makes you carefully try to predict what the next roll is going to be. The time and score penalty for getting a question wrong is a good addition - it encourages you to think critically about each question without slowing down the pace of the game. The music and visuals are very thematic and enhance the playing experience.

There is also a lot of potential for a future release - you could have levels where you need to beat a given score, have different kinds of dice, or even have multiple dice being rolled at once - that would allow for crazy questions like "Will at least one of the next rolls be less than 4?" or "Will the difference between the largest and smallest of the next rolls be larger than 5?".

Anyways, great entry overall!

Those are some good ideas! I have been considering a potential release, your suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks for trying out the game :D

Cool concept. Simple game but near perfect execution. Well done!

I really enjoy playing your game, the concept is simple but fun, I like the art too ! Good job.

Really liked on how randomization was used on this one. I also agree with others that the 50-50 chances should be removed. It makes the choices feel unfair and unimportant.

There definitely is something special being discovered upon here, trying to play around RNG with probability. Congrats on finishing the jam!

Great game, pixel art style and colors are great. The difficulty is just right for fun.

Cool game. Only thing I have against it is probably the aspect ratio. Other than that, it's pretty good!

The game is pretty good! It's short but sweet. The pressure really got to me EVERY SINGLE TIME I got to the last 10 seconds where the buttons and text move around like crazy, my brain would just shut off and just press a random button.

Overall, pretty great game!

Developer

I understand that feeling, even after play testing it so many times, my first instinct when the game speeds up was to press a random button! Thanks for checking out the game!

A very polished mini game! Making the challenge time based rather than turn based makes for a great combination. Now it's not just a roll of the dice, but also making sure not to press the checkmark when getting a "Smaller than 1?" prompt, which I unfortunately failed to do. (:

The way the music changes based on the multiplier at hand, and the great sound effects makes for a pretty complete package. Not much to say to improve here, other than to perhaps add some local/global highscores!

Simple concept but very enjoyable! Well done!

The game is quite fun and enjoyable. I love the scoring system too.

I’m sorry, I said I would but actually I can’t check your game, since it’s for Windows only and I run on Linux. :/

Ah, that's fine! So sorry about that!
