Nice visuals and overall mood! Mechanically it felt a bit janky and i still do not quite understand how shooting works in this game. Died a couple of times because the grenade just instantly exploded
Hmm by shooting do you mean the enemy shooting or the player shooting grenades. Anyways, thanks for the feedback. My team may start work on the game after the jam again so definitely stay tuned for that
i meant the player shooting grenades. Maybe it was a bug, but sometimes the grenade flew in the wrong direction or exploded instantly
Yes, I understand what u mean about the grenade shooting. I already found the grenade direction bug but due to time constraints I coudnt fix it
Destroying things is always fun (in video games)! Nice game, could be improved but still good enough. I think the game has a kind of emptiness in its environment which could be improved upon, I have the same problem in my games usually.
Thanks for the feedback. I get what you mean about the game feeling kinda empty, I had an idea about adding npc aliens but we didnt have time to implement it
Hi, I like your entry. Adding the tutorial at the beginning is always helpful. Sometimes it was unclear where the doors where, a more clear visual distinction between the walls and floors would have been nice. In future it would probably help to have a web build of your game jam game. Just for ease of use. Good entry.
Thanks for the feedback. WIll definitely make a web build in my next jam
Interesting concept. I like the destructible environment. Had some difficulty with the aiming mechanic not working as expected. But the atmosphere is there!
Thank you for the feedback and yeah the aiming mechanic is kinda janky, I think we can definitely improve on that
