I'm always a sucker for mech-building games, so I of course liked the concept of this one. It's interesting trying to build your mech with different parts in order to create an absolute monster build.

I would have loved to see more towers that were unlocked quicker in order to get more use out of the diverse options, as well as being able to switch out towers after you placed them. Also, some more challenging enemies and what-not could of also definitely spiced up the game, but I understand that sticking to the scope of game is important so this is just a wish-list of sorts.

Overall it's a nice game with some well put-together art and some banging music and nice sound effects. I really enjoyed seeing my mech towers expand and grow and then absolutely shredding the bosses. It was short and sweet, just how I like them. Keep up the good work!

Wow! What a cool game. I was a bit sad that i maxed out my crab before the first boss, because i couldnt swap out my buildings for the new ones, but it felt great collecting all the treasures :)

I think this game has done the best it could. The movement for the spider characters feels just right, and the combat is pretty good too. However, maybe because of the limited time, I felt there wasn’t much room for strategy when playing. Anyway, I’ve made a similar game before, and that one took me three months. Considering this was made in just seven days, it’s pretty impressive.

You are 100% correct on the strategic play. I was planning on having a pass at balancing the different towers so it was more of a choice before the jam ended. But, yknow, time. So at the moment you can easily win the game using just those first towers, as long as you get the movement down. Thanks for playing.

a very satisfying and fun game. The mechanics are very good. Everything is pretty good. The music is good but seems to be too loud. The only complaint I have is with the art and ui, its not readable and definitely needs a rework

A very creative idea, I really liked everything, especially the music. I think it just needed a few tweaks to the UI, but other than that, you did a great job!!

Ah, sorry, I forgot to mention that these adjustments would mainly be for the non-fullscreen mode, where some images overlap each other. In fullscreen mode, however, everything looks great and works well. :)

This game was simple but very fun. I liked the animation of the legs, and the music was nice too. I do wish there was a way to replace a component that I've already placed, but other than that I thought it was great!
