I love how polished this game is. This adult swim like artstyle is rad!
Very Simple and with the “Action Hero” Aesthetics it’s gives me a warm nostalgic feeling
SUCH a fun game!! Super addicting, loved the art direction tons, and the audio design adds some really great juiciness to popping the pieces around!
You guys did an amazing job :D
Not sure I understand how the color theme and the gadget combo works but loved the game. Nice theme interpretation. Visuals are on point and love the sfx and bgm. I can't seem to come to terms with the fact that 6 artists were able to agree on the same artstyle😂... You guys deserve recognition for achieving this feat
I had a good laugh with the game. Loved the aesthetic!
My faves where the ponies
Smashed it! Had a tonne of fun playing this entry, thank you so much for participating in our jam!
Im glad to hear that! Thank you for playing and hosting the jam :) it was a lot of fun!
Thank you so much! Im really glad you liked it and i love your creations! :)
Awesome game! I love this. Definitely brings me back to the days of my mish-mashed action figures and toys. Of course I have to point out all the art since it is incredible! And the packaging is definitely the kicker to all this. Very retro, and I love the "Now includes ________!" sticker on there! Which I figured out is how you get bonus points? Regardless, very fun!
But that was one thing I wish was a bit more clear, exactly how the pieces are contributing to the whole character. Just by making it a bit more obvious if there is a color match or criteria match or what not when I apply the piece, rather than when the figure is finished.
Besides that one gripe though, I had a blast. Especially when you see all your creations scrolling at the end. That part was very funny to see all the hastily made figures I created in order to just pump something out for points. I love it. This could totally be a super fun jackbox game. Awesome work on this!
P.s. found a bug where in creative mode there still seems to be a timer active and the game ended after about 20 seconds or so.
Thank you so much for playing and your feedback! I totally see your point regarding the "attach a piece, get feedback" issue. Being the only dev on our team of illustrators, the bottleneck definitely was getting the mechanics implemented and at the end we ran out of time to polish the gameloop. I will try to put it in the next update, along with other bug fixes etc. Im very happy you had a good time playing and thank you so much for your expansive feedback!
Feels polished and is super nice to look at!
Thank you so much!
It's a really good game for such a short time, I can see it has a lot of potential :D
Haha thank you!
The art for this game was actually incredible. I loved it, and adding that scrolling thing at the end that showed everything you made was super cool. Great entry.
Thank you so much!
One of my favourite games from this jam!! Its really fun. I did run into an issue though, after playing a few round the "Ship It" button stopped working
i found the bug you're describing and fixed it :) Thank you for playing and the feedback!
The art is really wacky, but I'm sure that was intentional, this one really fits the theme, nice job :D
Haha yes that's intentional. Thank you!
I really loved this project! The art is beautiful and perfectly matches the designs, and the amount of bizarre creations you can make is incredible and so much fun. It's an amazing game congratulations on the very well-done work!
Im happy to hear that you liked it! :) Thank you for playing!
Super fun game. Great music and sfx. Really good art style. Its super satisfying to build your bot and I really like
the unique characters I could make
Thank you so much! :)
this was a lot of fun! i really liked the recap screen at the end showing the toys you assembled
Thank you! Im glad you liked it :)
This was an amazing game. I loved all the wacky "creatures" I ended up making. It fit the Assemble theme perfectly. It had amazing art and sound effects. This deserves lots of praise. I did end up with a toy that I wasn't able to ship. I don't know if I was missing something essential to what it asked for or if it was just a bug. I also noticed that you could pick up multiple toy-parts at a time and place multiple in one slot. Anyways, it was very fun :)
Thank you for playing and reporting the issues! :)
Very cool concept and great visually!!! I love doing weird part combinations :P
The gameplay is very smooth, although the colliders could be bigger (like others have already said)
And in the web export I got a bug where I couldn't sell anything (reloading fixed it again)
Thank you! :) i already found the issue causing the ship it malfunction and i redid all the colliders for the next update after the jam. Thank you for your feedback, Im glad you liked it!
Fantastic entry. The art style is so good. The music works great. It is fun to make the most absurd action figure. 5/5 entry. Great work.
Thank you so much, that means a lot! :)
yes. this is so good. silly and fun! the attachment points could have been bigger so I could build faster and the music was a bit loud other than that I had a ton of fun playing this!
Happy to hear you had fun! :) Do you mean the attachment points on the torso/toybox or on each individual piece? Thank you for your feedback!
I think on the torso. The effect was that is was difficult to attach pieces to the torso quickly.
