How does your game fit the theme?
Its an assemble your own level game where the player uses blocks in order to form(assemble) its path and reach the goal. The Main Objective also serves the theme as you have to collect penotomino tiles to assemble a broken pentomino heart puzzle.

Really cool mechanic! I love the idea of creating your own path through a level and there not being any set solution to making it to your goal!
I agree with what some others have said about it being nice if there were an indicator for where a piece was going to be placed, and I did find the movement a little fast and hard to control, but overall I had fun playing!
An amazing take on a plataformer. The game mechanic is refreshing and uncommon for this types of games and I had a lot of fun trying new things.
Interesting game mechanic, I love the music. The game mechanic gives unlimited creativity for the player. Though it needs more polishing on how do you add blocks like the showing the range or rotating horizontally like the 4th block, But in the end the game mechanic has potential so I like it!
Thanks for trying it out! A lot of people have been mentioning the range thing so I'm working on adding it to the new version, hope you try that one as well
Looking forward to it!
Really cool idea to have a platformer where you build the platforms. I had some issues on my side with the screen size being too big. I couldn't see the block menu at the top of the screen. I also couldn't select other levels except the first one, not sure what that was. Also, having acceleration on your main character could have helped the feel of the game instead of going max speed straight away idk. Good entry.
thanks for the feedback! Did you collect the the tile piece at the end of level 1? You have have to collect those to unlock more levels
Ow, I actually don't know. I'll go back at some point and try again.
Alright, let me know if you find any other bugs. Working on a mobile version right now
Pretty fun game. Good music and a consistent art style. But showing some kind of indicator showing where the blocks could be placed would make it much less confusing
Thanks for playing! I actually had that planned and already put it in the new version I'm working on so I would like it if you would try it again after the jam
I definitely will
I like the game idea you cooked up here, a sort of build-your-path platformer, very fun idea. I definitely appreciated the in-depth tutorial that showed the player how the game worked and laid out all the tools available.
Although, I felt the platforming controls to be a bit hard to play with when it came to jumping and maneuvering. One thing I'd like to see be implemented is some sort of indicator for where your block will be placed, that would definitely help with some of the more precise placements.
Overall it's a nice game, but a bit challenging for me. Keep up the good work though and great job!
Thanks for trying it out! About the placement issue, I actually had a ghost block type in mind to show the players how the block will be placed but didn't get around to developing it during the game jam.
However, I'm still updating some things and working on it so check back after the game jam if you would like to try it out.
Going to add a new level set with better navigation as well!
this is a fun take on the theme!
Great game! the movement is a little fast, but that makes you actually have to think about your choices. Not many bugs (except for when I was intentionally testing the limits of this game).
How to beat any level: face backwards, switch to shape 4, spam e, win
I don't think that glitch would work, the main goal in level 6 is on top(spoilers) so how will you reach there? I'll try it out myself though. Thanks for letting me know. don't forget to rate btw
oh yeah, if it puts you on an underhang you clip through the wall
Just gave you my rating! BTW, after the jam, if you want to expand the project, I can compose some music for you
That would be great actually, I cannot find any sound designers or artists and yeah I'm not leaving this project to die so let's see how it goes
I know a guy who does pixel art too. The graphics on my game were CARRIED by him. He is pretty busy a lot of the time but he gets the job DONE
really fun game! the mechanics are really good aswell. But the movement is just a bit too fast for my liking.
Thanks for playing and sharing the feedback! I'll look into the movement part.
Nice take on the theme, and the artstyle really worked for your game. Great job!
A nice concept of making your own platforms rather than already given ones
It's a really cool idea! The simple style fits the project well. I did have some issues with the resolution while playing in the browser, where some commands or instructions were outside the screen, but it's a very fun game. Congratulations!!
I didn't test the web version properly, being a solo developer makes testing a lot difficult. Thanks for letting me know, I will try to fix it in the update
Simple concept with a cute art style! I think the collider of the blocks should correspond with the visible shape so you can better judge where you can walk / place blocks (meaning no black outlines). Also it would be cool to indicate where you have to go in the beginning of each level. Otherwise very solid game!!
Thanks, going to take notes from all the reviews and fix it. loved your game btw
neat little game with a charming artstyle! I like the concept but sometimes the levels are a bit confusing to navigate.
This is cool, eventually the music cuts out though, maybe you forgot to turn looping on? Definitely fits the theme a lot better than my game does, I liked it a ton!
Ahh I'm using .wav file so maybe I forgot to do it in the project settings, thanks for letting me know. Maybe I'll update it if I get the chance
Fixed it!
